Hi - I tried Prostap and it eased all of my symptoms- the consultant wanted me to try this prior to having the full hysterectomy to ensure I would get the results I wanted.I had the hysterectomy a week ago.
I’ve just had a follow up consult following a lap to remove my endo last year. It’s all come back and I hat your gyne has recommended, mine did too. Im the same as you, scared of the side effects!! 😩😩
Goofy22 its good to hear your thoughts as I’m considering the hysterectomy now.
I had endo ablation almost 4 weeks ago. Consultant did a ‘tidy job’ but warned I’d need a hysterectomy if it hadn’t worked in a few months. I have adenomyosis and probable endometriosis.I’ve had discharge and bleeding since the procedure, and horrendous bloating. I’m very fortunate that the monthly period pain for me is minimal, but I can’t live with the bleeding and bloating anymore.
I’m not against having a hysterectomy if things don’t improve.
Hi there I had an ablation Oct 21 and like you has stopped the periods but after 1 month pain returned, although I had to wait 6 months before gynaecologist would see me again
So went back and have had Zoladex injections for 3 months with no hrt
The results have been great! I did a pain diary and went from scoring 9/10 to some days 2/10 and pain free days aswell
Had my last injection beginning of June and have had a 2 wk window with no injection which the pain has got worse, going back to see gynaecologist tomorrow. Not sure what will happen next, I’ve never had a diagnosis of anything 🤷🏼♀️
