Has anyone had the full hysterectomy with ovaries removed??? Did it help with the endometriosis?

This depends on many things but probably primarily on what severity your endo is and whether it is excised at the same time. Having the uterus removed might potentially prevent new peritoneal endo forming from retrograde menstruation (and I know the jury is out on that one) but in terms of endo present and left there then there is no guarantee that removing the uterus and/or ovaries will help. There are many, including myself, who had endo afterwards; in my case I didn't actually have a diagnosis of endo at the time and my reproductive organs were reported as totally normal but went on to develop stage 4 under the influence of HRT. Hysterectomy/BSO is reserved as the last option after all other treatments have failed.
