I had to laugh at what I saw
I was on another forum where it was suggested that in order to get rid of your anxiety you should just not think about it....I can't help but not think about it.......this was my response yeah...about that....Work in a prison for 26 years.....don't worry about whether or not you will get assaulted

Driving anxiety
Does anyone have any tips for anxiety and panic attacks revolving around driving? I have been driving for years, and it has never scared me at all. I have previously diagnosed panic disorder, but driving has never brought on a panic attack. One day, a few months ago, I was driving on the highway to come

Anyone else have anhedonia?
Just joined and my first post. Feeling very lonely and listless. from online: Anhedonia is the lack of interest, enjoyment or pleasure from life's experiences. You may not want to spend time with others or do activities that previously made you happy A classic symptom of depression and I cannot shake

Update: Carbo/Etoposide for Dad’s Liver Mets
My dad has his 6th round of Carbo/Etoposide next week. The last 2 rounds have been very difficult on my dad. We thought he was lucky in the beginning as the side effects were manageable and attributed it to my dad being young and previously very active. It’s definitely true that chemo is cumulative.

Anyone try clonidine as a replacement for lexapro or similar anti anxiety drug?
I’m trying out bupropion thinking helps with motivation and focus and taking lexapro which does help anxiety for sure but I know it’s hard to get off so was wondering would clonidine be as effective?

FND SUCKS
Hi I'm Debby and I'm in the USA in Utah. I have been dealing with constant pain all over, abdominal pain, constipation that lasted sometimes 17 days with no help from anything, slirred speech, loss of the ability to walk flat( I walk on my tipsy toes) and need a cane, walker or scooter to get around

Any correlation between antipsychotic discontinuation and b12 absorption or deficiency?
Hi, has anyone ever had experience of b12 deficiency symptoms after antipsychotic withdrawal/discontinuation, & more specifically Aripiprazole (Abilify)? I am still awaiting b12 deficiency test results, but I wonder if discontinuation has resulted b12 deficiency symptoms & creating a false normal?

Am I going insane?
Hmm so I’m just wondering, do those of you with PA that self inject regularly still suffer extreme fatigue and body aches and pains or other symptoms? I have celiac disease and that’s in remission thanks to a gluten free diet and I self inject fortnightly. I follow a good gut health diet but was told

mCRPC- What is double negative prostate cancer along with the other 4 subtypes.
In research trying to understand my PSMA-negative FDG-positive current scenario I've come across some interesting articles that I thought I'd share with the group. I'm consulting with a new MO on Wednesday and I'm hoping she can shed some light on my progression. This paper came out 2 weeks ago- it's

Cancer Center Keeps Making Errors that make my application for a Medical Marijuana card get denied
I am so frustrated! My second application for a MMC was denied as the Physicians License # was in error. The first one was denied because their phone number was not included. This is just crazy! I've written a letter about that to them and will be giving it to either my onc or the NP that I see

omeprazole long term
Hello, advice please on long term use of Omeprazole, one 20mgs a day. I've been on Omeprazole for years now as I suffer from GERD. I recently asked my consultant about coming off Omeprazole but he stated as it is such a low dosage, to keep taking. There is so much on the internet about this medication

Treatment wait length- Public Health System Ireland
Hi all, I'm waiting on a scan appointment for suspected Ovarian Cyst and I'm in a lot of pain. I'm paying for it myself as I don't have health insurance and my consultant said I could be waiting 3 months on the Public Health waiting list. My mom had a 1kg cyst removed a few years ago and full hysterectomy
