Hip pain
Been diagnosed with IBS but from reading other posts I realise I am getting off lightly with symptoms. Possibly microscopic colitis. I just want to know if anyone else gets a lot of pain in area of right hip? Could this be IBS or just OA? Thanks

heart palpitation from suboxome
Lately due to frequent cold I have to increase Buprenorphine and Naloxone to 1.5 mg sublingually (3 quarters of film (2 mg), then I have experienced horrendous heart palpitation and my heart rate goes down to 42 to 44 /minute. Even when I return to my previous dosage which is 1 mg (half film) sublingually

2nd recurrence
hi ladies. As you know I am going through my second recurrence. My team have not been able to biopsy my offending lymph node as it is to dangerous to biopsy. So the have started me on another course of 6 rounds of Pacitaxol/Carboplatin. I’ve been told that my cancer is slightly more difficult to treat

New member
New member here. Looking to commiserate with other IBS sufferers about how they are dealing with symptoms. I’ve been told that a lot of this (bloating, constipation) is brought on by stress. But then you start “doomscrolling” to better understand your symptoms and you see all kinds of stories of people

Biopsy wait times
Hi all, my dad was diagnosed with lung cancer last week and understandably we are all devastated. He has not been well since Oct. X-ray in Dec and CT scan on 3rd Jan. He now has to go for a biopsy and the GP informed him the appointment could take up to 4 weeks. He called the appointment line today and

QoL: Moonrise at a liminal place No. 2
I painted three versions of this mixed media work, being drawn repeatedly to the reference photograph. It is a place called Cwmtudu (pronounced Coom-ti-di to my American and, I imagine, most of my English friends here), and here we are looking down jnto the valley from a rocky outcrop on some clifftops

I began this just over a month ago and wondering if anyone has been on this protocol and seen it help. To give a background. I was diagnosed first 27 years ago. Stage

Dexamethasone
My cousin has a brain tumour and is receiving radiotherapy. In addition, she has been prescribed 2mg daily dexamethasone steroids. I'm wondering what is the difference between this drug and prednisolone?

update on my eyelid problem
Hello, all. I don’t know how many of you saw my previous post a few weeks ago when an ophthalmologist suspected basal cell carcinoma in my eyelid. I had a biopsy and yes he was correct and now I have to have eye surgery to have it removed. I know this is not the site for that, but I thought I would

Back in permanent AF and warfarin dose decrease
Hi All, I used to have paroxysmal AF which was ablated by Prof Schilling back in 2010. I had been in NSR. However I was diagnosed with prostate cancer back in the summer. I had huge delays and postponements before I had a biopsy. I eventually got the results 5 weeks later (rather than the two weeks promised

Polyps and IUI
At my baseline scan last week a 3mm polyp was found on my lining, it wasn't there on my first round of IUI, which resulted in a BFN, but has appeared this time round. I am now in the difficult position of deciding whether to carry on with round two, due to surge tomorrow or Saturday, or to stop and investigate
