I have never posted on here before as I don't really know what to write... I had a 'severe' head injury about 18 years ago in a car accident, as well as some broken bones. All things considered I am very lucky and function very well (externally!). I made a far better recovery than was expected. I didn't

PIP and beyond!
Hi I've had my PIP assesment a few weeks ago and struggled to walk from the waiting room to the assesment room yet I have only been scored a 4 on mobility, this doesn't seem to make sense to me. Any way I have applied for my blue badge anyway. Here's hoping! I also applied for a disabled rail card and

Moxa and acupuncture
Hi Ladies, Haven't been on here for a while. Had a pretty traumatic experience with my previous cycle. We have started our third and last attempt and doing everything we can to try and make it work from diet to acupuncture and listening to hypnosis tracks (which I must say are brilliant at helping me

Worried about travelling
I've also tried
hypnotherapy
which again was a waste of money and didn't help at all.

Fear, insecurity, helpless
Neighbour ringing my bell asking if I am ok , I am really afraid I want company but I don't want anyone to know my fears my insecurity or that I feel helpless unable to do anything about it, yes I did think of
hypnotherapy
but I am even afraid of that what happens if I find out I am blocking something

We shall overcome
Not to mention NLP acupunture, Chinese cupping and
hypnotherapy
. And a few that have been forgotten. Ive been on manoeuvres for years. I am need of R and R. The body refuses to sign the chit. But no one mentioned. That I could Overcome. Surely to overcome I must first fight a battle and win.

IS THIS JUST ANXIETY OR ANOTHER MENTAL HEALTH CONDITION?
My mum took me to the GP and he confirmed that medically I was fine and referred me to see a counselor, this did not help at all so I actually went and tried
hypnotherapy
and after three sessions I was fine!

Smoke smell on others after quitting
I have quit smoking by using a e cig and going to a
hypnotherapy
session. I was a heavy smoker of 40 a day and have now not touched a cigarette for 3 months. However, I have the most huge cravings sometimes but I bash them away and power through!

Today's appt
Went well. Not been put on Biologics but I have been put on steroid tablets instead of having huge 160mg injections every 6-8weeks. Will be put on Sulphazalazine if the MTX injections don't improve me (apparently the MTX injections are up to 30% more effective...?) and the steroids will be reduced week

Good Morning
Hello everyone from Tottie and Keegan. Special waggs to noheels. Tottie on the right is nearly 13 has spondylitis and has hydrotherapy. She just has herbal tabs because conventional ones upset her tummy. This works well for her and she still enjoys chasing squirrel s and bunnies.

Dissability
Hello fellow fibro people, I was at hydrotherapy last sunday & I have been advised by the physio there to claim for a disabled person freedom pass & a blue badge. My husband got me the forms & I haven't been able to fill them in as I get too emotional. I guess I saw myself as having an illness & not

Chronic muscular pain - advice saught
Hello, I have been suffering from chronic back pain for approx 2 years now. I have had all the appropriate tests and scans done (bloods, x-ray, MRI), which have ruled out anything 'sinister', and so I can only put it down to muscular / biomechanical issues...I have done two long term stints in physio
