Emollients - Epimax instead of Diprobase
Hydromol
cream (still listed by my area's formulary) is £11.92 for 500 g (yet Zeroderm, which it's meant to replace, is £4.10).
Hydromol
ointment (which I use as a soap substitute) is £4.89 for 500 g. Isomol in a 500 g pump pack is £3.99. Epimax (the now-preferred choice) is £2.49 for 500 g.

Asthma and living with it
I woke up one night when I was 14 and couldn't breathe. Over the years I was in and out of hospital, on various inhalers and steroids when needed. I managed to get by, have three children, then in 1991 after the birth of my last child I had really bad attack. I was put on steroids to get me back to

Norethisterone - Honest Opinion?
I visited my Drs again this morning after my 13th day of irregular bleeding. Due a phone call Friday for a choose and book appointment but struggling with pain and bleeds. Its really getting me down. I was given Co-Dydramol but pretty much used all of it up. I have now been prescribed Norethisterone

New and confused?!
Hi all. Hope you are all well. I have a long and painful medical history which I will put in below but not in too much detail. Feel free to ask questions - I am not shy about sharing! I apologise in advance for the long and rambling post. 2009 - had a partial hysterectomy, left ovaries took everything

Ambulance Journey Number 3!
I'm still in the process of being diagnosed with Endo, but the pain is so unbearable at times it calls for 999 as I literally cannot bare it, and I'm pretty thick skinned when it comes to my gynae pain!! So a few weeks ago (23rd April) I was taken into hospital by ambulance due to uncontrollable pain

Recurring low back pain
Approximately 3 years ago I hurt my back, I'm still not quite sure how. I just sat down one day and couldn't get up. I had noticed for a while before that I wasn't able to lay on my front anymore as it was making me ache, the doctor seems to think this may have been a warning sign. Anyway I ended up

Trouble with work and my back, again.
The end of the school holidays should've been fun and relaxing. Instead my back decided to flare up for real. Took almost six weeks before it calmed down...for a week! The doctors at a loss, my skin now reacts to TENs machine pads. Pain Management suggest acupuncture when I should be in work. Arcoxia
