Picture dissociation
So every year my mum goes to Spain in September for a month and I go around her flat to see her cats and most times what I often find doing is flicking though the mountain of old pictures she's has of me growing up with my cousin's, my grandparents, at school ect and I'm more fasanated with everything

Feeling pretty worthless
I am a twin and growing up both my brother and I totally idolised our dad. He was our hero and we both aspired to be like him, be as good as him and make him proud. My dad could deal with anything, he was a take charge man and always stepped forward, led from the front and help other. 5 years ago he

Bed wetter sometimes...
My 5 year old DD has not yet been fully dry at night and wears nappies / pull ups to bed. Every now and then she will not just wet her nappy but also poo in it too :( She is not constipated as the DR has checked everything and reassures me that she will grow out of bed wetting. I talk to her about it

Derealization I guess?
I think I have derealization? Right now I just feel: - really foggy like I’m partially not here - Deja vu-ish. - On edge - scared I have had these Deja vu feelings since last year. If you have looked at any of my past posts you know I am 90% certain I have epilepsy. I don’t shake or anything but sometimes

Waking up from Induced come (with a trach) - seeking for advise and hopefully some encouragement....
Following my previous post (https://healthunlocked.com/icusteps/posts/138808902/in-need-of-some-encouragement-and-insight.-waking-up-from-coma-dealing-with-the-trach-etc...) I have a few more questions. A few days after being taken off sedation, Is it normal to have leaps in the consciousness level?

Bed wetting in older girls
Hi, my daughter has suffered from daytime and night time wetting since we started potty training at 2 and half. She is now 10 and we are still having problems, daytime has got a bit better with age but night time is still a massive issue, she still wears pyjama pant pull ups and they are completely soaked

Smoking. !!!
I am writing as I am wondering if there's something seriously wrong with me or is it a personal issue. I am still a smoker with emphysema and two weeks ago I went to the Dr, not my usual one at the practice, and when I asked her for Zyban which I have used before and it made me stop smoking, she said

Are using stool softeners (Colace) every day plus a stimulant laxative on a weekend day..**really enough** for Chronic/severe "C"
Just feeling confused right now..is anyone in this situation and can relate? I take several medications that make my digestion slow and very constipating. Before finally resorting to a stool softener, I would not have a bowel movement all week..and have to wait until Saturday night ) due to my living

The gift of friends
There are days when bubbling from us comes the innocent child within, who giggled at little things and wears a silly grin. There are days when melancholy comes to vist; the mind feels tired, the body weak; we have no strength to smile. There are days of joy abundant grabs a hold of you and me. Wraps us

Cannot believe less than a week ago I was contemplating a long haul flight with my husband!! We had 2 really good weeks ( reduced aggression, minimal incontinence, some comprehensible speech, an apparent enjoyment in social interaction, just intermittently coughing, sleeping for 3 hrs at a time etc)

Trying to conceive Month 5
I’ve been here before to write a post but I am blessed and lucky with a two year old daughter who was conceived on honeymoon within the first month of trying and for that I’m forever grateful. We decided five months ago that the time was right to try again and although I didn’t anticipate to be so blessed
