Frontal haemorrhagic contusion is bruising of brain tissue.

Frontal extracerebral haematoma is bleeding of brain tissue.

Basal skull fracture is the fracture of the base of your skull.

They should have explained that to you.

Ok, i understand it as follows, please correct me anyone if i am wrong.

Frontal Haemorragic Contusion is a bruising( contusion) to the frontal lobe

Frontal Extracerebral haematoma is a blood clot situated outside of the frontal lobe but within your skull.

Basal skull fracture is a break of the bone at the base of the skull

thanks, no-one has every explained to me what my injuries where (which is why I tell people I have the generic term of frontal lobe damage) or even why people get excited at the fact that I have a tbi but I work as a civil servant (which I still find weird) so bruise, bleed and fracture, thanks it all sounds like its the terminology is latin but its nice to have a better understanding of my injury

That was one of the main things I got from the Rehab I got, which was cognitive testing so I know what has been damaged and where I had the bleeds, knowledge is power as you where.
