Party With 8 Month Old
Hi. Wonder if anyone can advise me. We are going as a family to a party tomorrow evening. We are taking the baby with us and I just wondered if any mums could give me any advice on how best to get through it with a baby. The party is in the evening and is going to be a noisy affair, with a live band

Anaesthetic and stage 4.
I’ve been told I’m having surgery in a couple of weeks. Not worried about that, but worried about a general anaesthetic. It has stuck in my mind (from a few years ago) when I asked my nurse what stage 4 asthma meant. She said it would be hard to get people off a ventilator. As that’s what happens with

Worried about brain cancer
For the past year since I got my first bout of Deja vu after a very stressful situation with an ex friend of mine, my anxiety has been through the roof. I did the exact wrong thing and typed in “Deja vu?” Into google and what came up? “You May have something up with your brain” as I delved in further

Ablation tomorrow
Hey guys, I’m scheduled to have a RF cardiac ablation tomorrow for PSVT and I thought I’d create a post here. I’ve had the condition since I was in my teens and now 12 years later, I decided to opt for the ablation. The irony is I haven’t had any episodes in the last few months (I’ve had the odd flutter

3 year old possibly with holding at nursery - any tips?
Hi! My lg has recently finished a disimpaction regime as she had constipation linked to potty training. She is doing brilliantly...doing 1 poo a day at home (a few accidents but mostly in toilet/potty) & seems to recognise when she needs to go. However she is reluctant to poo anywhere but at home and

15 year old son with giggle incontinence. Desperate to find a Dr to help as its affecting his mental health.
Hi I'm new to this forum. My 15 year old son has been told he has giggle incontinence and we have gone round and round in circles with GP, continence team and urologists but have got nowhere. We have now found out he's been lost in the NHS system and we have to start again. Next appointment is a few

Post Concussion Syndrome Five Years later... memory getting progressively worse?
Hi folks, 36 year old male, desk job 9-5, actively participating in sport (running and cycling), have always had good mental health and physical health. Just wanted to ask opinion. I took a knock on the head about 5 years ago (fell off bike - with helmet on!), and in the first six months/year I had

Chest pain relieved by popping your sternum?
Lately, I've been experiencing intermittent pain in my chest. It's kind of a throb, exacerbated by, for example, picking up something heavy. However, I've noticed that, when I arch my back far backward and, in so doing, pop my sternum (an audible "pop!" sound), it relieves the pain entirely. If I'm unable

Residential? Holistic care?
Hi, I’ve posted before so you may be aware that my son is coming up for 12, he’s had chronic constipation from a very young age. Currently on 9 movicol a day, 10ml dulcolax and 10ml senna with sporadic disimpactions. We’re ‘used’ to this game, daily accidents usually at least 3-4 a day, endless streams

Wetting and soiling, not getting anywhere with gp and paediatrician
Hello. My daughter who is 4 has been suffering with enuresis - daytime wetting for a year and a half now. She had a scan on her bladder and they said it was fine. She was prescribed oxybutynin and has been on it for 8 months although it doesn’t seem to do anything. The last 4 months she started soiling

Well.. Everyone thinks I am normal. Sure enough i can act like I am on the outside but its been so long since I let anyone see how i really am on the inside. I guess it all started last year. I had a reliable best friend and a squad with me. I was happy. I know I felt happy. But I met this guy and..
