I went to the doctors today and they felt my stomach and said that it was very hard, I am consitpated badly - worse than I though considering I have been going maybe twice a

Positive news makes all the difference
Feel the need to be positive for a change, when my bf came home from hospital following hypoxic brain injury we were prepared for battles however recently I am daring to hope we might not have to battle as hard as I thought. Step 1: applied for a bus pass as he cannot drive for medical reasons - agreed

rta 25 years ago, only recognising symptoms of brain injury now? Is that possible?
Hi, my husband is off for his PIP medical (been in receipt of full DLA for many years and was given a life-time award which means nothing now of course) tomorrow. I am preparing a supporting letter regarding a change (increase) in his pain meds since we filled the form in nearly 6 months ago. He had

First post and desperately after help and support please
Hi everyone - so glad I’ve found others that suffer like me and can hopefully understand what I’m going through. I’ve been married 5 years but feel life is a constant struggle between my head (thinking things) - and my mouth actually saying stuff out out loud! For example I worry (a lot) that my husband

Worried following disimpaction
Wondering if anyone can help/advise me please? We completed a disimpaction with my son about 6 weeks ago and things have been really positive since; full poos on the toilet (some even self initiated!) none of the dark, sticky overflow soiling in between and just the odd accident but not overflow, more

Dizziness
Hi all, my TBI was 3 and a half years ago caused by falling down stairs at home. Although I have experienced the odd dizziness since then when it's happened in the past after lying down for a couple of hours I've been fine again. This week has been different. I was dizzy in the night Sunday then Monday

I was told buy the surgeon who did my whole fixing that my gi might suggest removing a portion of my large bowel before

Desmopressin has stopped working
My daughter, 13, was put on desmopressin melts (120) which seemed to slightly improve her bed wetting. Then she found out after 2 weeks they're not vegetarian and refused to continue. She was then prescribed desmo tablets which come in 200. These worked great at first - no wet nights for four weeks

Update on tapering and wedding dress
First the tapering - it's going well now after going back to 10mg. Gradually went to 8mg without pain etc. 5 days ago started on 7.5mg and have achey muscles in thighs, neck and tops of arms (this is a new one). Going to wait on this dose for a bit longer to see how it goes. Fingers crossed. Last time
