I think I am depressed but want to be in denial. Unmotivated, anxious lonely feeling girl
From the outside it looks like I have the perfect life and everything anyone could dream of. The best family, great job, good friends and a boyfriend. In reality for the last year atleast I have been so unhappy in my job and chose the wrong career path outside of university. I have finally got an internal

Epilepsy worries...again
I have been under a great deal of stress lately. And while I was talking to my boyfriend over skype the topic came up about me being older than him but I was actually supposed to be born after him. Then he said something along the lines of "Its not fair that your older than me" he said that jokingly

Finally Got The Call
Hello Everyone, It’s been a while since I’ve been on here; probably about 4 years now. I think that was when I was going on APD I asked for advice. I did go on CAPD, then APD. Unfortunately, after 2 really bad peritonitis and a lot of drama, my peritoneum failed. I was immediately mapped for a fistula

Positive news makes all the difference
Feel the need to be positive for a change, when my bf came home from hospital following hypoxic brain injury we were prepared for battles however recently I am daring to hope we might not have to battle as hard as I thought. Step 1: applied for a bus pass as he cannot drive for medical reasons - agreed

Hi, my husband is off for his PIP medical (been in receipt of full DLA for many years and was given a life-time award which means nothing now of course) tomorrow. I am preparing a supporting letter regarding a change (increase) in his pain meds since we filled the form in nearly 6 months ago. He had

Epilepsy...maybe?
This time last year I had a terrible experience with a friend that sparked my anxiety to flare off the charts. My friend and I had an argument which ended with her saying I was unstable and crazy. That in and of itself launched my anxiety into full blast and over the past year I have been having the

Worried following disimpaction
Wondering if anyone can help/advise me please? We completed a disimpaction with my son about 6 weeks ago and things have been really positive since; full poos on the toilet (some even self initiated!) none of the dark, sticky overflow soiling in between and just the odd accident but not overflow, more

Dizziness
Hi all, my TBI was 3 and a half years ago caused by falling down stairs at home. Although I have experienced the odd dizziness since then when it's happened in the past after lying down for a couple of hours I've been fine again. This week has been different. I was dizzy in the night Sunday then Monday

Can you reverse a ileostomy if you only have have a large bowel.
I had an emergency surgery for a perforated bowel. Have not seen my Gi docter yet and today when I went for my appointment I was told I was there on the wrong day it was yesterday. I was told buy the surgeon who did my whole fixing that my gi might suggest removing a portion of my large bowel before
