Desperation setting in

Hello all. As it stands , my father is in icu. He has a viral pneumonia - could very well be Covid but not identified . He is on and off the bipap machine but overall trending well on oxygen . His issue is his blood volume which is low. He’s had to have five transfusions now and the “speculation “ is his marrow is not producing . His psa is at 19. We were waiting to move onto the next treatment (hopefully lu-177) until the valve replacement which went successfully .. then all of this. His oncologist is not getting back to us and we are desperately seeking advice and sadly coming to the conclusion that hope is not to be had.

He was previously on Lynparza which he seemed to suffer every side effect from ..

Unfortunately it seems we are on a race against cancer with this viral pneumonia . Thanks for the response

What is wrong with that oncologist? Not getting back to you? That’s BS! Am sorry that your father is going through so much hell ! It’s a lot to withstand for anyone . Prayers for him to get out of the hospital soon . Miracles are needed always . My father had this tool . I know how that feels . Stay by his side and love him each second! 😔🙏💔

Sorry to hear this. And- the failure of the oncologist to respond to you is a problem. Have you tried contacting the chief/head of the hospital? I would be proactive and not wait.

I'm also sorry to hear this.Please try to find the phone and email of the social worker dept. at the hospital.

Hospital social workers often make things happen.

He's 77 now and has many years ahead of him. Tell that to the M.O. if you can find that bastard. Tell your sweet Dad I'm in his corner. God Bless....
