Several rounds of antibiotics this summer. Had some small bleeds. Bleeds have stopped. Done with antibiotics. But I’ve been having noise in my chest. when I lay down at night. I Think it’s from all the mucous I have draining. Pulmonologist said my lungs sound good and ct scan looked good. I’ve had this

High cholesterol in family question
In my mums side of the family high cholesterol seems to be an issue. It’s not been confirmed that it’s FE but my uncle at the age of 51, slim, healthy, non-smoker and had a clean diet, had a massive heart attack. He passed away a few years ago at 66 due to heart failure. He was told it was caused by

Has anyone tried oxymorphone?
Hi, has anyone here tried oxymorphone for RLS? oxymorphone is similar to oxycodone but with much less sleeping difficulties in comparison with oxycodone. I have been doing extensive research for an opioid which exerts less sleeping difficulties because the oxycodone I am taking gives me severe insomnia

“Shriveling” and losing fat and muscle
Hello everyone, In the last few months I’ve gotten a lot more wrinkly and my extremities are beginning to resemble toothpicks. Especially noticeable in my thighs and rear. I’ve had trouble with healthy eating during this pandemic and with filling up if I don’t eat carbs. I’ve lost a few pounds

Portal hypertensive gastropathy
I went for a gastropathy on Monday to take biopsies to test for EOE (Eosinophilic Esophagitis). Whilst in there they found 2cm sliding hiatus hernia (not too concerning). Also found portal hypertensive gastropathy with prominent red varices - non bleeding. Waiting for follow up with hepatologist now

4 in 1 blood pressure pill: Safe and much more effective than usual hypertension treatment
High blood pressure is the world’s leading killer but poor rates of blood pressure control remain common. A new strategy where patients are started on a pill containing four medicines, each at a quarter of their usual doses, has been shown to be much more effective in getting blood pressure under control

Brain fog query
Hi all, would you agree that if I didn't have brain fog and blurry vision prior to commencing levothyroxine and after taking cholesterol tabs it seems the brain fog has improved and I wear glasses a lot less , would that mean levo causes high cholesterol?? Or contributes to high cholesterol How many

PLEASE Explain These Findings To Me ?* Stunned & Confused.
Hello my friends. I have been on this "super healthy diet" for 2 years now. Completely changed ALL my eating habits to everything I was told to do. No Cheating at all. I go to have a full blood work checkup. I knew ALL my numbers just had to be great. But I was shocked !* It's like a bad dream. This
