High cholesterol & levothyroxine
Hi I have just had blood tests done @ GP to check thyroid/cholesterol. I do not have results but have a telephone appt. to discuss on Thursday this week - which normally means something is wrong. In the last six months my TSH has been 0.12-0.16 in a range beginning 0.3 & upwards. Doctor has been fine

BETA BLOCKERS....RLS symptoms
I take nebivolol (beta blocker) and micardis to treat high blood pressure and irregular heartbeat (minor).I have refractory rls and have just commenced weaning slowly off Sifrol (.250 mg) Just wondering if ALL beta blockers worsen rls or does anyone have one that’s ok to use? My cardiologist had no idea

Oxycodone and Laxative
I have just started on Oxycodone to replace Oramorph... 5 mg fast relief . Suffering from Bladder Camcer. Problem is that I then need a laxative because both of the above make me constipated. Oxycodone appears not to react well with Dulcosoft laxative. Anyone any suggestions ?

the culprit is in the cbd I am taking
HI, thanks to all of you who have responded to my last post. After days of wondering as what is the reason the oxycodone I have taking for years lost effectiveness all of a sudden. It is not the pregabalin but the high-dose CBD I have been taking in the past half month reduces the effectiveness of

Is teva taking over thyroid medications. Im struggling to get MP. Got accord from boots, suffered dizziness. They would not get me MP. Have to keep changing chemists. Thought this chemist stocked MP but got northstar and wockhardt as no MP in. It did say not teva on my script. Did a quick search and

Contents of TEVA's other products?
This is not really a thyroid-related question, but I'm hoping someone knows the answer. I'm well aware of the problems with TEVA levothyroxine, and have successfully managed to avoid it so far. But my GP has recently diagnosed me with elevated blood pressure, and prescribed Ramipril for me. The 1.25mg

Liver Multiscan
I was very disheartened by my recent visit to the Gastro unit. It's been 12 years since I was diagnosed with Cryptogenic Liver Cirrhosis, I've been on Azathioprine for 11 of those with routine Ultrasound Scans and Endoscopies. Good news is the Endoscopies have now stopped as I have been on Nadalol beta

High cholesterol...
Hello everyone, my doctor wants to put me on statins due to my high level of cholesterol. However, I have read a fascinating article by Thyroid U.K. about the link between an under-active thyroid and high cholesterol - and I wonder if, by raising my level of T3, my cholesterol could be lowered. New to high blood pressure
How long did it take for your blood pressure to settle and go down? I’m taking 50mg Losartan but was on ramipril for a little while before that, I got the cough with it and changed. My b/p is still erratic and I started the meds just 3 months ago. The gp is calling me next week x

Side effects after several weeks of taking losartan
On Losartan 50mg, for 8 weeks, had stomach pain but that's gone. Now feel fatigued and slightly dizzy. Can this occur after so many weeks?

Plasmapheresis treatments
Just received my 5th treatment. Doc saying not seeing the results they expected. Anyone else have this Tx and can give me idea, how many, when you saw results? Will be discussing options with docs Monday after they discuss…IVIG or another IV tx starts with an R (sorry, brain 🧠🙄). New here, trying

MABs - Encouraging, but not really
Couple things…. 1. Has anyone taking Calquence received a MAB infusion? Waiting to hear from my Dr to confirm it’s safe and doesn’t cause any drug interactions. Seems unlikely, but I want to be certain. 2. Applied for a MAB infusion via the Stanford Health process and explained that, although I didn

Plant Sterols and Levothyroxine
Being hypothyroid my cholesterol levels have been quite high-last reading was 7, 2 years ago. Have been using a proactive margerine as don't want to go on statins. Has anyone had any success with plant sterol supplements? Are they tolerated with levothyroxine? Any anecdotal experiences would be appreciated
