Not all fibro
I came out of hospital on Friday after having an inguanal mesh hernia repair as a day patient. Not sure if this has set my fibro off worse or what but, I have never been in so much pain! The operation site is so sore and I'm bruised passed my belly button and down my leg! I had one done 10 years ago

My Medical Record for my Hernia Repair - 2011
A recorded delivery letter today. My medical records from the hospital that I requested so I could find out what type of mesh and the serial number of the material used. I am gobsmacked at what I read in the records. I had a CT scan done in 2012, six months after I had my hernia repair. This is the

Reducing Ibrutinib even further!!!!!!!
My husband is currently 'off Ibrutinib' for 14 days due to surgery next Wednesday, he is acutely tired, and already asleep....in bed.We thought as an experiment during this time we would monitor daily his fatigue levels. At the end of the 14 day period, if it has improved we will ask the haematologist

Migraine hell and Botox
I had Botox for migraine a week ago, 30 injections. I'm surprised no-one on here has said how painful it was as I found it really hurt when the Botox was injected, like a hornet sting. Obviously it will be worth it if it works but I'm not looking forward to the next lot. Like everyone else I have tried

Has anyone had surgery and been told afterwards that surgery was difficult due to multiple adhesions?
Previously had a D&C due to miscarriage and severe infection, C-Section and within the last 5 months I've had my Gallbladder removed and six weeks ago a abdominal hernia repair. The last 2 surgeons have commented on that surgery was difficult as I have a lot of adhesions which some had to be removed

I'm out of hospital - thanks for all the good wishes.
My surgery did go ahead on Wednesday, though I did begin to wonder if it would, as I was gowned up for over 6 hours before anything happened. I'm feeling pretty good and not in too much pain. My tummy is quite swollen but I'm guessing it will be a couple of weeks before the swelling goes down. My biggest
