Pinching pain in chest
Hi everyone. I have permanent AF and am awaiting cardioversion. Every now and again I feel a pinching/slight burning pain in my upper chest (much higher than my heart). I think it began when I had my flu jab - it was literally 10 mins after I had it and lasted a couple of days. I don’t recall feeling

Result of my scan 4 days ago
I just phoned GP surgery about the results, and they say came back normal. I still have to recover from Hep E and still concerned where I picked that up a couple of months back, also EBV was detected too on Blood tests. So just going to keep to sensible diet and hope all will be ok.

ANYONE BEEN CONTACTED FOR COVID JAB YET?
My GP doesn't consider having RA is a good enough reason to have a flu jab, and has not been allowed since 2017, although I managed to slip through the net and have mine until this year, but after a lot of trouble did get a jab. My question is, has anyone with RA been given an appointment for covid

Flu jab reaction
I had a flu vaccination for the firs time ever 10 days ago in my arm - which doesn't have lymphoedema - and had a mild reaction e.g. pink, swelling, sore. It subsided after three days but then my right leg became very painful from top to bottom and was swollen. I have lymphoedema from the waist downwards

Why am I going cold?
I'm normally a very warm person. My treadmill is out in an unheated conservatory. When I run on the treadmill, I always have a separate fan blowing full blast as I get so hot. Just lately, about 1 hour after any of my runs/exercise (treadmill or outdoors) I get extremely cold? Is there a reason

Hepatitis E I don’t know much about this my blood test says detected. Also Epstein Barr virus from possible 2months.
My daughter had EBV when a teenager and she was very poorly with it, I don’t remember feeling as bad as that in the period of 2 months ago, unless it has raised its head after infection from years back. Hep E don’t know too much about it except what I have Googled. ALT gone up to 500 from previous 205

Advice please
Hi everyone I have PVR jak2 + and my husband has CLL. We live in Bulgaria so language barrier, are we safe to have the vaccine? Husband heard that CLL sufferers can’t have it. We have both had the flu jab but we need info as we want to visit relatives in early 2021. Thanks

Question about vaccine eligibility
Apologies if it's been covered already but I couldn't find anything following a search of the forum. Since the beginning of the pandemic the nhs has been pretty clear that even if your asthma doesn't require you to shield you would still be at higher risk of complications. That pretty much reflects my

Anyone get extra sensitive skin since having RA?
Excuse the close up, I cropped my mustache from it 😅 I just put some under eye cream on which I have used before with no problem and now man alive my skin is on fire. The red is creeping down my face now and it burns like a good un. I had my flu jab last week and since then things have gone bonkers,

Hapatitis A
Hello. I have been diagnosed with Hepatitis A since 2016 and still has it. I feel fatigue but lately i drink lots of clear water and that considerably improves. I cannot however concentrate and always late for work because of sleeplessness. I have not been able to do another test since 2016. Sometimes

Hep C and Fibrosis
Hi guys, I am hep c positive and just had my bloodwork results come back. I’m petrified because my dr told me I have fibrosis. Now I have to have an ultrasound to find out how scarred my liver is. I’ve been doing inet searches and scaring the hell out of myself because I think I’m starting to show symptoms

Best protocols in taking the COVID vaccine?
Hi all, have your rheumies provided advice on how best protocols in having the vaccine? What I mean is with the Shringrix/shingles vaccine my own rheumie instructed me to take a prednisone round for the second dose to save me from the bad side effects and avoid a flare-up. 7 of her 10 patients had excessively

Hi all, I am on 100 mcg Levothyroxine. I have never a flu jab before but does anyone know if there is any reason why I should not one? Many thanks.
