NSR...out of the blue!!
Last year I had 3 ablations for persistent AF, all deemed to be unsuccessful. 5 months after number 2 , I had 9 days of NSR but then went back into persistent AF with no further breakthroughs. Number 3 was arranged as a top up but after that did not result in NSR for more than a day it was decided AF

Side Effects from Metoprolol 25mg
I am taking Metoprolol 25mg halved twice a day for AFib and having side effects of almost passing out or a weird feeling of like I would be passing out which has happened twice now. I'm taking it with Eliquis. Is anyone else having this symptom?

one month post op
I am one month out from my liver transplant, and am still in horrible pain, have lost 40 pounds, of which I did not have to loose, still taking OxyContin regularly, can’t sleep, and can’t eat solid foods. Any suggestions? Feeling absolutely miserable, and NO energy.

Helping a parent through post op recovery
Hi, 1st post. As I travel home from London St Thomas's I reach out to anyone with advice as to how to best support and help my mum. We are four days into double heart bypass surgery and the sadness and anxiety about what lay ahead as well and truly kicked in (along with the AF)!!! I rack my brain

F4: cirrhosis
I was recently diagnosed with F4 Cirrhosis and I'm terrified. I found out by reading my medical record. Still breathless after 3 years of open heart surgery
end of 2019 I had open heart surgery to repair my mitral valve, close small hole and do ablation for fibrillation. Not getting proper aftercare or physio after the operation, I had to rely on an app for all that , due to the covid situation. I did my best and after we got back to proper cardio exercise

Transplant and BKV Realities
I received my kidney transplant 8 1/2 months ago. The surgery went so well and the transplant has been a new lease on life in so many ways. As I have posted here, I have dealt with a near-constant onslaught of infections (C-dif x2, UTI, Sepsis, BKV, CMV), the most recent resulting in 2 weeks spent in

Famous Kidney Transplant People
I am watching Modern Family (rerun and the series is now ended) and remembered that Sarah Hyland, the oldest daughter, Hailey, of Claire and Phil on the show, was transplanted with a kidney when she was younger by a donation from her father. It failed and she got another transplant.I read that she said

Good News Today
I just left my EPS office with good news. I actually thought I was having problems with my new pacemaker but the office it is true. Dr Saini kept raising my ECG print out telling me how wonderful it is and my echo was the same. For all purposes, my heart on there looks the same as anyone with a normal

Dehydration.
I am on Bumetanide twice daily for mild heart failure. We all know what it does but in this weather we are encouraged not to become dehydrated. I am drinking loads of fluids but should I expect more or less loo trips under these circumstances. Still no rain here.
