Dehydration.

I am on Bumetanide twice daily for mild heart failure. We all know what it does but in this weather we are encouraged not to become dehydrated. I am drinking loads of fluids but should I expect more or less loo trips under these circumstances. Still no rain here.

I take Furosemide before going to a fluid restriction i visited the toilet 13 times once in 6 hours i only drank water and it was common place for the first 6 hours after taking the diuretic to go frequently..

Yes you should drink more and go more..

I live in Australia and the summers here are very hot so its wise to keep as cool as you can..

Keep on drinking. I never complain about the number of times I have to pee. I’m just so pleased to see that at least something still works as it should. 😀xx

I am Donald in hospital after my op. and and drinking away to pass 20 ml, then I can go home.

Thank you Donald. little- pain and just having to rush a little, but they did a good job. Nurses and staff 10/10 - I on't eat in hospital normally but was teased with lots of Best Butter and toast and a huge mug of tea. I got my 10ml without really trying in the end

I drink plenty and not on any meds that make me go to the loo but am up and down all night long, drives me potty x

I wake up on the hour almost to go to the loo, I do drink a fair bit of soda water during the night, but help washed the rubbish in my system. Long drives well x 🙃

My dad used to call his pee pills his white tornados because of the effect they had on him. That was the slogan at the time for a brand of toilet cleaner. xxx
