Borderline Diabetic
Good afternoon, this is my first post as I'm new to this. I'm borderline diabetic and can't seem to put weight on, my osteopath said I look skeletal. I'm wondering will protein shakes help? I eat 3 meals a day with no grazing as don't want to set off the diabetes and have to live on medication. All

Permanently dizzy/unstable walking
I'm a 75 year old relatively fit, sub-25 BMI, non-smoking/drinking male, but have a 10%-ish permanently dizzy life. I only have these feeling when up on my feet, walking, either around the house or outside, where I need a stick to help support me from wobbling too much. This feeling started about 1

Low carb a good idea???

What is DIET food?
Hey guys. Something that came up from one of my clients who was feeling hungry in work and wanted to grab a go ahead bar for a snack as it was a low fat option. When I looked it up I realised what a sleazy deal that is being done by these so called diet bars, So before I dive in, I recommended she got

ITP and joint pain
Ive had ITP since 2004, initially treated with steroids which has left me with insomnia, apart from some iVig before Christmas, as my levels normally stay above 30000 (30000 - 80000) we now just monitor rather than have any treatments. I do feel tired all the time, and have nasty monthlies along with

Anyone tried 'shiritaki noodles' as a low calorie option?
Hi, has anyone out there ever eaten shiritaki noodles? Apparently they are just dietary fibre and contain hardly any calories. Before I start trying to track them down I thought I'd get some reviews on them. Apparently they'd have a pasta and rice substitute version too. I first heard them mentioned

Life after circumcision
It is now almost four months since my Circumcision but I still find the head can be sore. The slightest touch can sometimes result in pain. It is nothing too severe but can be very uncomfortable. Both the Surgeon and my Dr say the Op was a success and is healing well. The site of the stitches is fine

Skin rash
I've had CLL for almost 9 years. WBC count had been mostly stable around 20K. After my 5th IVIG infusion (Feb 1, 2017), I developed a skin rash that started on my torso and has gone all over my body. It's been 2 months and hardly abated! Dermatologists put me on Prednisone for 3 weeks, and I've been

Relaxation CD
I want to mention a Relaxation CD that I have found helpful. It has a number of different techniques. The first two sections are instruction type talk. I found the 3rd ( 5 minutes of deep breathing) and the 4th (progressive muscle relaxation) to be the sections I use the most. There is also guided imagery

ED problems
I'm 47 years old and lost my wife slightly younger wife 18 months ago to cancer. In the last 6 or 7 years during her illness sex was very infrequent, and I both our libido's dropped, due to lifestyle and illness pressures. I'm now engaging in sexual relations but finding it difficult to maintain erections

Foreskin problems.
Hey I'm 21 and I've literally never been able to pull back my foreskin. I've even tried some "stretching techniques" and nothing has worked. I clean it as much as I can but I still get itchy and even get a strange fluid like around the head which has a horrible smell. I'm getting depressed, because I

Moderate Phimosis
Hello everyone I have seen some decent info online but thought I should specifically explain my own situation. I am 20 years old and have lived with a mild form of phimosis my entire life. I don't have any skin/penis condition's and I believe my phimosis is due to the fact I never retracted when I was
