Hearing test this morning
I go in for a hearing test in a few. They're gonna be checking for fluid in inner ears bc I'm having so many issues with my ears and throat and balance. I'm nervous and anxious, my anxiety is up a bit. Please wish me luck for some answers

What is going on?
Back in December, I started noticing neuropathy like numb leg & numb left hand and confused as to why it’s only happening on my left side & I’ve been losing a lot of weight, but I dramatically changed my diet and cut out all sugars, but was definitely not

proctitis
Hi, I wrote last month about having calprotectin levels of 2000. I have been on pred enemas which didn’t work. Now on pendasa suppositories I think it is. 3 weeks later no better. I’m not sure if it’s worse. I see my consultant next Saturday but in the meantime wondering if there is anything diet wise

Good and bad news
well after 19 months of abstinence from Alchohol combined with
eating
healthy
and exercise my Kpa has gone from 9.3 to 4.3 showing no fibrosis after being told originally that I had cirrhosis so that’s a massive relief and hopefully an incentive for anyone in the same position that I was in .

Good and bad days
Hi all! So I've struggled with food since 12 but ignored it. I know it's not right but yeah. I'm 24 now and I've gotten better the last year/ 2years. Some days I am okay but some get bad, like today I cooked lunch but now I smelt it and I feel sick, I feel sick in my throat, stomach. And it scares

After so many rounds
eating
healthy
and cutting back on booze etc it’s made absolutely no difference. So this time (transfer hopefully September) I’m literally eating and drinking crap. I just don’t care, it’s so bad, I need a stick of dynamite up my arse and some will power. Any suggestions

Tips for preparing talk therapy. Bottom up approach.
Eating
healthy
, yoga, meditation. -Your goals for the therapy session with them. -Your Story and your fears, concerns and anxieties. -Let them know you have FND and your symptoms. It helps them to know when to go even slower. Rationale: it saves you time rehashing.

A couple of things...
Second is I found or refound a web site that has tons of recipes for
healthy
eating
, categorized by type of diet. Lots of vegan and vegetarian, low sodium, diabetic friendly, none specifically for CKD but I'm sure many of the recipes are kidney friendly. It's also free. It's Eatingwell.com

How long between NHS hearing tests?
As I have got my NHS hearing aids changed a couple of times now (without anyone checking that they are working for me) - I was just wondering if I will ever get my hearing tested by them again?! I had my last test in January 2020 - but this was paid for privately at an NHS hospital (no one to that point

any advice greatly appreciated. Stage 4 diagnosis in May,ascites, HE, varices in oesophagus spleen and stomach
I'm
eating
healthy
vegetarian diet and 70g protein per day. Since May I've had 4 UTIs, 2 bouts of orbital cellulitis, I've fractured my little toe and now I have Covid. My bilirubin level raises with every course of antibiotics. Is infection my biggest threat to my life?

Medication absorption / metabolisation
I'm vegetarian and my diet can vary from unhealthy (crisps, carbs, wine) to very
healthy
depending on my mood. Recently I've been
eating
very healthily and not drinking any alcohol. Does anybody have any suggestions for other things which might help the medication have an effect on me?
