Paracetamol and co-codamol
Hi all, I have significant osteoarthritis in my hip. I have been prescribed co-codamol 2 capsules at night and to take paracetamol in the daytime. As yet I have only taken 1 tablet at night and 2 paracetamol in the day. Not really helping a lot. I am not keen on taking too many painkillers as I also

Is pain which lasts for a month usual with endometriosis? (Waiting for scans, going insane with the pain!)
Hi ladies :)I posted here once before and got some very useful and helpful replies, so thank you all! So ... I'm still on the waiting list for an ultrasound, though I'm unsure how much that will show and if it will confirm my suspicions that this endo. My question is the longevity of this pain. It's

Freaking out
Sorry loads of posts like this and I don’t know what I’m looking to gain - maybe just venting! Have had lower abdominal pain intermittently for nearly 2 years with some mucous in my stool every now and then - bloods all normal as was calprotectin in stool - GP has only just sent off for a FIT test -

Endo surgery list!
Hello everyone! Hope you are all keeping well! So I finally have a laprascopy surgery date for the 7th of January for diagnosis of endo! I’m currently self isolating due to high rise of covid in my area. I don’t want to risk catching it and not able to have my surgery. During my time I’ve made a list

Just been diagnosed - Endometriosis
Hi all - new here & first post.. Just went for an internal scan at the hospital after 'normal' blood test results. Nurse said she's pretty much certain I have endometriosis & would write to my doctor. I asked about what happens next & she said I'd need to push my doctor for anything and mentioned they're

Is this my first period?
Hi, I’m 5 weeks post laparoscopic endometriosis surgery and myomectomy procedure. I’ve not had a period since the 4th of November. I’ve been having all the pms symptoms for the last week and today I had a very light pink-orange discharge. Is this my period? I have no pain and no heavy flow so far. I

MBC Baggage
Excited off to Gretna Green in Scotland tomorrow to take our renewal of wedding vows before Christmas. We had to laugh at our baggage and oh how it has changed since our honeymoon baggage there many moons ago. My suitcase now exists of Ibrance, Adcal and painkillers if needed, hopefully not. My newTricia

Pleurisy. How long to cycle NSAID?
Hello and good morning or good evening depending on where you are in the world. So, here it goes, first time forum user here. And what has brought me here, well, desperation really. I have been experiencing symptoms of pleurisy for the last 2 weeks, which I have been treating with NSAID's and Paracetamol

Neck Pain that causes pains around the eyes and the head.
Over the last 6 months and after a major op I have landed up with neck
pain
and popping when I move my
head
. The physio at the GP`s thinks I spend too much time on the PC. It is stress and as the day comes to an end and I settle down with my wife to enjoy some TV it often subsides.

Hashimoto meds playing up
Head
ache, body aches and chest
pain
. My bloods came back which have flagged up thyroid, cholesterol and folate. I have to see the doctor tomorrow. I guess my question is why all of a sudden has my thyroid played up? And should I be concerned about folate and cholesterol?

Pain relief
Hi, I have severe endometriosis and am waiting for excision surgery and hysterectomy. I’ve avoided painkillers until now because of side effects particularly on my bowel but I’m really struggling to manage now. I’m not able to do much day to day anymore other than getting showered and dressed and

Deep heat, deep freeze, or massage oil?
I've been massaging my legs for 1-2 min each night before bed, and it seems to help a bit. What has your experience been? Also, have you tried something like deep heat or deep freeze, and how did that go?

After some advice and some personal experiences!
Hello, this is actually my first post so apologies if it is a bit long winded! After around 6 years struggling with pelvic related issues (PID, cysts, pain & heavy periods) I am now under gynae having investigations into endo. Over the last couple of years I have had bowel symptoms that have gotten worse

LOTR challenge - the first walk
Said chilliness also worked on my ears so I got
pain
in my
head
from the cold (I have very sensitive ears). And to tip it off it also started raining halfway. 😵 Aaaaanyhow, after 3,5 km (registered that is) I crawled back inside into the relative warmth of home.
