Hi ladies :)I posted here once before and got some very useful and helpful replies, so thank you all!
So ... I'm still on the waiting list for an ultrasound, though I'm unsure how much that will show and if it will confirm my suspicions that this endo.
My question is the longevity of this pain. It's been pretty constant for about a month - perhaps more - and ranges in severity. It also has spread to my lower left where it used to be just focused on my right hand side. I. Am. Exhausted! The pain is just making me miserable. And I do have painkillers from the doctor, but it is so hard going since I work 12 hour shifts over 3 days in a factory. Standing all day in pain is not fun at all. Especially when, if it gets bad, I have to ask someone to cover so I can go pop more pills.
I'm rambling. Sorry! Is this normal with endo, though? Pain which just keeps going? I know from research that most women get it bad a week before their period (which is how my pain used to be) and that's all. Do some women suffer on a daily basis?
Thank you for any advice or experience

Hiya! Sorry to hear you’re having to cope with all this pain - it really does wear you down :-(Unfortunately, endo can give you daily pain, not just based around ovulation or menstruation. I guess it depends how much is growing where in your pelvis (or even beyond), and whether there is scarring/adhesions affecting your organs / pressing on nerves etc.
I have severe/deep infiltrating endo affecting my bowel with adhesions plus endosalpingiosis (similar to endo but with ovaries). I have daily pain in back, hips, legs, and lovely random shooting pains in vagina/rectum ⚡️Painful bowel movements, painful urination, painful intercourse (if I dare!!)
Having an ultrasound is good, but often can’t pick up endo, even an MRI can fail to show everything (plus it depends on the skill & experience of staff). The best way to diagnose is to do a laparoscopy- they can usually treat while they’re in there, or at least get a clear picture of what’s going on& form a plan. Anyway, hope your scan comes soon & that answers & relief are on the way! Xxx
Thank you for your reply, and I'm sorry to hear that you struggle so much from it as well!
I've heard a laparoscopy is the best way to see, so I at least hope that something shows so they investigate further. Honestly, I've been having unexplainable pains for so long it would be a relief to find out what it is just so I know I'm not overreacting!
Thanks again for your reply and kind words, they really do help
Yup to all those. It's called a flare up. I would get it every 2 to 3 months. Which would make me go to hospital and stay there for 2 weeks to control the pain. It would affect my left thigh, pelvis too lower back.
I had my first surgery in 2019 and had never experienced a flare up pain that horrendous as I used to. I am endo free since, but do get odd lower back pain here and there.
