GP appointment wasn't helpful!
Hi I saw my GP yesterday to review my blood test results: TSH 1.33 (0.35 - 4.94) FT4 13.6. (9 - 19) Ferritin 59 (10 - 204)
Haemoglobin
15 Vitamin D 82 She says they are all normal. I questioned her about the ferritin being higher in the range, but she said its fine.

Anaemia/Tiredness
Great news - they worked -
Haemoglobin
now back in the normal range for the first time in a year. Bad news is Maltofer is not available on the NHS and costs £100 for a months' supply. I asked my Consultant what the NHS equivalent is and she said there wasn't one and hadn't even heard of Maltofer.

I've had my Vitamin D tested and it was 43 in February (Range 25 -170) I have had full blood counts in the past and they show that my
haemoglobin
levels are fine but ferratin usually on the low side. The 2 doctors I've had both said this is not an issue.

Week 6 Run 2
I do have reoccurring problems with anaemia so I can imagine that a drop in my
haemoglobin
levels will not help my running stamina at all.

Visit to GP to get test results and to discuss pain
I had many abnormal's show up this time including T4,
haemoglobin
was fine but my iron stores are low (Ferretin) so I'm back on iron tablets without being anaemic again :o I urge you to get this checked as you may have low iron stores and not know about it especially if your results show normal

Autoimmune haemolytic anaemia - AIHA
Following my second treatment, my
haemoglobin
level fell, necessitating a blood transfusion. I had my third treatment a week later than originally scheduled. Following this treatment ( 4th October ), my
haemoglobin
level fell again and I needed a second blood transfusion ( 28th October).

New tests results, any comments please as seeing doctor early Wednesday
- 3) Monocyte count 0.57 (0.25 - 1) Eosinophil count 0.17 (0.04 - 0.5) Basophil count 0.04 (<0.1)
Haemoglobin
A1c level 37 mmol/mol (19-48) There is a note about change of units so I am assuming this equates to result at top of list.
