Hi Where ever the test, you always need the ranges as all Labs even in this country are mostly different ranges for each test. TSH does look Ok, that does not usually vaary, Lab to Lab. If you have ranges you can see yourself how they are. Also for thyroid, you need T4 and Free T3 done too. There are other tests too, but start with those
T4 we usually need to be in top third . and Free T3 to be near the top. Everyone is different and a lot depends on how you feel.
Hi The main tests to see if thyroid working OK, are TSH, T4 and Free T3, when you have 1 blood test it is usually for all 3 things. Treatment based on the result is either T4 alone, normally levothyroxine or T4 with T3, a separate drug. Or both together. depending on the results. If GP cannot do them, you need to have those tests on line for the correct treatment.
