significant drop in platelets after Covid Shot
I am wondering if anyone else experienced this, I received my first Covid shot in April. Within the next 3 weeks I had my labs drawn for my monthly phlebotomy. Since 2016 my platelets have consistently been in the mid 700’s. After receiving the covid shot( that was the only difference in the norm)

I have posted here about my dad who is in ICU for severe pneumonia (3 weeks intubated, 1.5 week trachy). Initially, he went to the hospital for a minor operation to remove a benign cyst from his throat and acquired pneumonia in the hospital after the surgery. After switching to trachy, they tried to

Anyone tried natural modified ivf for low AMH?
Another thing I’m considering is asking to try a natural modified ivf cycle which I’ve heard is good for older women with low AMH. Having had two rounds of icsi on a normal-high dosage of arms and only getting 2 eggs each time with just one fertilising I’m keen to see if this would be any different -

Colds/flu/viruses and Thyroxine
Just wondering is there any link to having Hashimotos and not having any colds/flu/viruses. The reason I ask is that I never got sick, with the usual colds etc for many years. I just started thyroxine a few months ago. Now I have a really horrible virus, coughing, temperature, flu like symptoms. This

Great video on healing a "leaky gut" and I found this probiotic to be the best deal on Amazon!
For myself ... I believe my PD-like symptoms is from my "leaky gut". And, fortunately after more than 2 years of self-diagnosis --- my various symptoms are still very, very, very mild. My neuro/MDS is Dr. Bozo who said after my exam: [i]"The good news is that you don't have Parkinson. The bad news

Otelza Drug for Plaque Psoriasis
Hi all, just a quick question. Not PMR but for another AI disease. Has anyone come across or have experience of using Otelza (Apremilast, Aplex)? An earlier post got me thinking as my daughter has just been diagnosed (maybe) with Palmoplantar Pustulosis Psoriasis. I thought she might be put on Methotrexate

Lyme Disease
Hello, I hope everyone is feeling as well as possible. Can I ask about links between Lyme Disease and RA? What is actually known? My daughter was talking about ticks the other day (we are both walkers) when I said I had had (in my late teens) a bullseye mark from a tick on my leg, she said ‘well that
