I will be glad if I can get recommendations on how I could achieve regular period as PCOS .

- Body mass - 26.9 to 26.6

- Heigh ;167.5cm

- Weight; 75kg

- Black woman

Symptoms;

- Tiny hair grow on my jaw, nipple and tommy.

- Hormonal imbalance

- Polycystuc Ovarian

Fertility Journey

- 2 natural Ectopic pregnancy (No Tubes again)

- 3 IVF/ICSI cycles ( Implantation Failure)

- currently have day 6 blastocyst frozen.

Plan;

1) I want to find answer to the Implantation failure before trying again or transfer the frozen embryo.

2) Pending first plan, I will like to have control of my menstruation (I wish to have regular period like normal women)

I WILL BE GLAD FOR RECOMMENDATIONS ON HOW I CAN TAKE CONTROL OF MY BODY AND HAVE REGULAR PERIOD.

Just some thoughts from a fellow PCOS..have you had blood tests to understand your LH/ FSH ratio on day 2/3? Testosterone levels. Fasting insulin test. Thyroid hormones. Balancing any of those hormones that are out of range can help restore ovulation. Esp if you have insulin resistance then myoinositol supplements can be helpful for that, as well as a diet lower in sugar and refined carbs to keep insulin in balance. I have used herbal remedies from a naturopath in the past that have completely changed my cycles! Happy to send you more info if you’d like xx

Thank you so much @Ytrewq123.

I guess I have to search my test record to know which of the hormone is out of proportion or redo the hormone test.

I will definitely PRIVATE CHART you when I get hold of those details.

Hi Fauzytt. Your BMI is perfect. Your GP could prescribe metformin for you to help. If he/she does, then ask for the slow release sort so you don’t get bowel upsets. It’s a good starting point and may do the trick. Check your thyroid levels are at the correct level for fertility too. Good luck. Diane
