Covid 19 has it worsen your ME/CFS symptoms?
Good morning all! I was wondering if any of you caught Covid 19 that made their ME symptoms worse. The reason I ask is that I am pretty much still "terrified" not to wear a mask and to travel just in case I get covid. I discussed with my GP they advice the as my mom lives in a sunny place I should go

Covid/PMR Questions
My husband just tested positive for Covid. My doctor had warned me that because of the prednisone, I needed to contact her if I had exposure to or showed symptoms of Covid or any other bug. My recollection is that she said if I got sick, she would increase my dose of prednisone since my own immune system

Fatigue
Hi all, I tested positive for Covid on 14th February after carefully avoiding it for almost three years. It has really knocked me out. I work 3days a week and have been unable to return since Covid diagnosis. I am so, so tired and having at least two naps a day. I feel Covid has exacerbated all the existing

Constant oral thrush on Fostair
I am constantly struggling with oral thrush on the roof of my mouth and now painfully in my throat. I take 2 puffs morning / 2 puffs night Fostair. I use a spacer, brush my teeth, rinse my mouth and it still keeps happening. Usually Nystatin works but this time (after finishing antibiotics) it’s not

Myelin Sheath Repair
This isn't technically a B12 question but since a lot of us have peripheral neuropathy I thought I'd post it here. Has anyone read about a newly discovered use for an old antihistamine, clemastine? They say it can repair the myelin sheath for MS patients. Here is a blurb I read: "[i]Now, researchers

Belated thank yous
Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes back in August. It’s been a rough, bumpy road since I had Covid last June (fortunately it was 2 days after returning from Oberammergau to see the Passion Play.) The tour was postponed in 2020, I can’t remember the reason….oh yes, it was Covid! 😆 The illness

Viral Meningitis
Dear all,I am from Germany but I did not find any useful forums where I can read about similar syptoms and post meningitis peoblems! I had meningitis and was brought in hospital on 16.3 with a painful headache and fever.luckily the next day a doctor said he wants to do a „puncture“ to be sure it is not

Singulair - Flu Like Symptoms Side Effect
Hey All! A little bit of background on me. Early October I was infected with COVID-19, I’m 4 times vaxxed, and while it was only two days of symptoms, I ended up with SOB on day 3 which later turned into Long COVID. I was prescribed Flovent and Salbutamol by the ER Doctor, my NP then prescribed me Symbicort

Covid
I tested positive for Covid on Thu. 16th March and I have had an email telling me I am "vunerable". I have asthma as well as CLL, on W&W for CLL. I am 80 years old. I did the test and phoned the result through and answered all the questions. I was told someone would contact me. Well, I am still

High LDL cholesterol associated with lower COVID mortality
This article was pretty interesting. Data from China indicate that high LDL cholesterol levels are associated with lower COVID mortality. LDL cholesterol plays an important role in immune response. Modern societies demonization of LDL could be hurting immunity. This is just an n of one, but I have been

Covid jab now?
Has anyone in UK heard when we will get our next 6th covid jab. I’ve messaged my GP surgery but had no response. Our friend in France says they are being done there. As I’m classed as vulnerable I will be happy when have it, even if have side effects, don’t usually last.

Hearing loss post covid
Has anyone else had hearing loss post Covid? I’ve had this now for about six weeks, accompanied by head and neck pains and a sore mouth; also a kind of object less anguish which is hard to navigate. And tiredness of course. Recent blood tests were fine. Lupus consultant recommended I ask GP for an ENT

Does endo cause daily pain even when on desogestrel
I'm struggling with daily pelvic pain since my dignotic lap where endo was found but not removed. I've been on desogestrel pill since November and have no periods but yet have this daily pelvic pain. More specifically does anyone else get more pain in the lower right side of pelvis? Sometimes I have

Aloe Juice
In her book Kate Gilbert mentions she believes using Aloe Juice helped her control inflammation and reduce meds levels. Plus in her case it may have also possibly restored gut health which may have been the cause of her PMR. Lots of ‘possible’s’ and ‘maybe’s’ so there seems to be no research or scientific
