Looking for feedback regarding Asymptomatic Afib
I'm fairly new to this forum and I already feel at home. It's very refreshing to find an online community whose members are so kind, understanding and generous. By way of introduction, I'm a 69-year-old male living in Connecticut. My Afib history is as follows: Diagnosed with Afib by PCP - 8/9/

5-htp for adrenal insufficiency?
I've just read a bunch of articles about 5-htp (an amino acid precursor to serotonin) stimulating the HPA axis and increasing cortisol levels. Has anyone tried this when tapering through the lower doses of pred?

fatigue
I was just changed from monthly blood tests to 6 months and 6 month check ups....the doc said I was stable and there was a good chance i would never need treatment. I am 76 and maybe he thought I would naturally not live that long. Anyway, my concern is this ongoing fatigue that smacks me in the face

I talk about my age of my weight but this is a specific thing I’m back in atrial fibrillation after 12 weeks of being in normal rhythm. After

feeling a bit overwhelmed and lost
In September 2023 I found out by chance that I had apparently been diagnosed with lupus 15-20 years ago. I haven’t been told at any point in this time by a doctor - I found out almost by accident from my GP physio. Since then my current GP has been initially verbally supportive although said they knew

a newby to Lupus
Hello folks, I was only diagnosed with lupus a few days ago, after six months of being told I have stage4 CKD, currently at 21% .Eight years ago I was diagnosed with severe anaemia by my GP, which with retrospect I think was a symptom of Lupus and the cause wasn’t looked into. I don’t have the energy

Post Ablation complications
Had persistent fast AFib since Nov 23, decided to go private route as my health was deteriorating. Echocardiogram Jan 24 showers severe mitral regurgitation, and ejection fraction 28%. Lots more drugs added to the cocktail and now under the care of both a cardiologist and an Electrophysiologist. Drugs
