levothyroxine induced lupus erythematosus?

Hiya, I am fairly new to all this, I have been on Levothryroxine for Hypothyroid (Hashimoto’s disease.) since June. My initial symptoms started after my first covid infection. All was going well until November time when I started to develop a Malar rash in the classic butterfly shape on my face. I don’t seem to have any other lupus symptoms. I have read a couple of research papers about it, just wondering if anyone else out has had the same problem? And if so what did they take as an alternative to levothyroxine?

I have a colleague at work who got Covid-triggered Lupus.

I just googled it, as maybe you have too, and came across this:

So in my very limited experience, it was the Covid, not the Levo, that “caused” the Lupus.

I was diagnosed with possible drug induced lupus after a punch biopsy . I get horrible rashes not sure what meds is doing this can’t say it’s levo because I also take other meds and can’t do the removal to see what’s causing it …. Also it has gotten worse since I had covid last year. Sorry not much help.
