PA from Autoimmune
Just was diagnosed with PA but not PA from a Gastric bypass surgery. I went from a B12 of 86 to 280. I do feel better but my Endo dr said it wasn't increasing enough. I get 1 injection of B12 a month and I am a avid runner (training for marathon now). Can anyone tell me if strenuous exercise can cause

Sister diagnosed with PPC
My sister who is 68 years old was just diagnosed with PPC. She had her first chemo yesterday. They inserted a port so her chemo isn’t systemic. Anyone else have the port? If so did you lose your hair? What side effects? She also had a gastric bypass surgery 10 years ago. Anyone also post Roux en Y

My testimony
A severe case of strep throat caused me to go into kidney failure. Before i could be eligible for a transplant, i needed to lose a lot of weight. While on dialysis, i was approved for gastric bypass surgery, and two months later i received a kidney from a donor I met, I have never felt so alive before

Curious
I’m a 68 year old female with osteoarthritis in both knees. I’ve had gastric bypass so can’t take anti inflammatory drugs. Have had injections in both which helps, temporarily. Just on here to get informed about other people’s experiences with knee problems

Soup Makers: What's your best recipes?
Post gastric bypass and i've bought a soup maker. I love curry so looking at spicy soups; however, I want to throw in some super foods as well. Have you done any experimenting and what's your best recipes?

Champix after gastric bypass
Hi ... day 15 of champix and quit day! So far so good but I have to say it hasn’t really stopped my urge to pick up a cigarette. Wondering if this is because my body doesn’t absorb food in the usual way? I get terrible tummy cramps after taking it that last ten minutes or so. Is this usual? No

Iron infusions
I am hoping some of you can weigh in on this. I have had RLS since 2012 and have tried practically every medicine, Rx and OTC, folklore (the bar of soap...lol), etc., for RLS and the only thing that has consistently helped me is Requip 2 mg at bedtime. Unfortunately, I developed daytime RLS a few months

Should I be concerned?
Hi, New here. Hopefully someone can help shed some light for me. A little bit of a background, I am 32 and had Gastric Bypass surgery in 2008. I've been feeling not so great so I went to a doctor and recently had blood tests done. Results say: ferritin serum level is at a 3. My hemoglobin is an 8.8

New diagnosis
Hi, my hubby is newly diagnosed in UK. Was given a new inhaler and tablets to thin mucus and that's it, no referral to hospital, no tests. He is very overweight and currently waiting for a gastric bypass. I just feel that docs are not bothered because of his weight. He has has asthma all his life but

Multiple Sclerosis HOT MESS
Hello everyone! I am new here and not really sure what I am doing here, besides this is where Google brought me :) I have MS and have had it for 15 years. I manage my MS very well and keep a very close eye on all my medical issues. So when a new one pops up, I am all over it. I went to the neurologist

I want to self inject.
Hello everyone, I’m very new to the sight and have had PA for just over 3 years. I bought myself a gastric band and although losing 8 stone I have unfortunately got PA. I really would like to to self inject but I don’t know where to start! I currently have injections every 10 weeks, but just feel awful
