Purplepuffin, If you can please post details of the thyroid test numbers that prompted your GP to increase your levothyroxine dose from 75mcg to 100mcg, it might help to shed some light on your symptom.
Also, what brand of levothyroxine are you now taking, and is it a different brand to the one you were previously taking?
Hi, I experienced this many years ago when I started liothyronine in addition to levothyroxine. The endocrinologist said that was one of the liothyronine side effects. I imagine, as lio and levo are two forms of the same thyroid hormone, levo increase may have caused breast soreness. Taking evening primrose oil helped me a lot. I'm not taking any more. It seems my body eventually got used to the hormone levels and not causing soreness anymore.
late reply @purplepuffin but I had this too. I took starflower capsules which is similar to evening primrose - it was absolutely fantastic .. still take it and no sore boobs !
