Looking for a friend or social group
It is very hard for me to keep friends as my brain doesn't always help me in social situations. I have autism and body dysmorphia which are my biggest hinders (besides other diagnoses like depression etc) I would like a friend who is open minded with my daily struggle and accepts my peculiar personality

Swapping Rasagiline for Safinamide - Hobson’s Choice or out of the frying pan and into the fire?
I have been on Rasagiline from the start. 8 years as my staple bedrock of my cocktail of PD drugs principally Ropinirole, Amantadine and of course Co-Careldopa. I have a pacemaker and take Atorvastatin and Ramipril for heart issues. Now the pharmacy says Rasagiline is in short supply in the UK and likely

Phenelzine
it worked for me incredibly well. No restless legs going on2 years. Phenelzine is a maoMao inhibitor with the differencethaydifference that it only raises dopamine in the central nervous central system. LIfe changer for me, but make you talk to a drDr, so many medicines can interact.

Devil's Claw alternative medication
Hi all, I've been on Pregabalin and Duloxetine for a while. This has some impact but still suffer daily pain. I use Turmeric massage oil which does offer some relief for a while. We have a local health care shop who has prescribed Devil's Claw which I have been taking for two weeks. I do believe it

Duloxetine - restless legs
Hi, I am on Duloxetine 60 mg and Trazadone 100 mg. Since going on the Duloxetine my RLS seems to be worse. I don’t really want to give it up right now as I have only been on it 3 weeks and since I have tried several anti-depressants I want to give this one a fair go. The Trazadone helps me sleep a

Today is the first time I have posted since joining. I am so afraid of being judged that I have not had the courage to share, even here!
I think my depression and anxiety have heightened to a point where I can hardly focus on tasks. My brain spins through scenarios that just occurred like it is recapping the moment and it just gets stuck in a loop. Is this ADHD or something like that or is it depression? Does this happen to anyone else

Hello from New Zealand
My adult son was diagnosed with hypothyroidism from a routine test after a slight head injury during Covid lockdown. I have not been able to lose weight and so asked my GP for thyroid function test - and sure enough!! So was started on Eltroxin. Lately my usually reasonably well controlled BP went haywire

Controversial query re causality of PLMD
Most of you are RLS sufferers, but my question is more about PLMD, which is treated with similar medications in Western medicine protocols but is not the same condition (Eastern medicines treats them differently). Anyway, to the degree anyone knows, it is obvious that PLMD can cause depression and anxiety

Hi all So have been struggling to get a GP appointment to discuss my Thyroid meds. After MUCH sulking from me my medication was reduced to 75mcg from 100. Although I managed to hold out for 100 whilst I was on holiday- feel not so good so have been trying to get my meds reinstated. This since end

afib and sleep apnea
I have had 3 failed ablations and my dr ordered a sleep study to see if there is an underlying cause to my afib (I’m 38/f) have had afib since end of 2021. No medication works either. I guess my question is how many ppl also have sleep apnea and afib. Did it help your afib treating the sleep apnea

Where do I go from here?
I've struggled with anxiety and panic attacks and depression since I was 4 years old. I thought I was doing better and then this week I started having unprovoked panic attacks again. I lost my ability to speak for 24 hours. It was terrifying. Should I look into IOP or PHP? Is outpatient just not enough

since coming off Ropinirole in October 2023 a lot has happened. I saw Doctor Jose Thomas at the Spire hospital in Cardiff South Wales before Christmas and completed his standard forms relating to RLS, sleep patterns mental state and so on. He wrote to my GP suggesting i commence a course of Pregabalin

Strange hr spikes during sleeping on my watch
Hi guys. I see on my Amazfit GTS3 smart watch that every night I have a couple of short heart rate spikes as you can see on the picture. I have PAF but didn't have an episode for almost a month (as far as I know) and it would be extremely unlikely that my afib episodes occur only during sleeping and

I am Alone
My boyfriend has Bipolar Disorder and let say this year hasn't been the greatest overall. I haven't felt this suicidal since my teens( I'm a 26 year old female). I'm all over the place at the moment. I feel like I can't begin to express how much I want to end my life. I'm so tired of this. I'm always
