Update (partly for my own records) Day one scan and next steps

I had my day one scan for my second transfer (first frozen today). All looked fine and my lining was thin enough to begin to move forward with our cycle. I’m on 5 progynova tablets per day 3 orally, 2 vaginally- seems like a lot! And I am still on Nafarelin but only a half dose (one spray up the nose morning and night). I have my next scan next Thursday. Apparently this time my progesterone dose will be higher. Earliest possible date for transfer would be Feb 22nd. Has anyone had a similar protocol. I’ve been reading horror stories about progynova. I think I was on it last time and I was fine but I definitely only took it orally. Didn’t ask why I was having so many as I just assumed that was standard. X

You should absolutely always ask why the doctor is giving you certain meds and dosages. I was on 3 progynova and estrogen patches. The doctor said it was to prevent ovulation and whilst they had dropped to 2 as standard procedure, they recently had a few cases where women had ovulated so they increased back to 3. I started to feel unwell with it and then managed to get it dropped down to 2 tablets. This was all for an FET. Good luck x

Oh I know it can seem like it will never happen and then suddenly it does! I’m 2 years in trying for a sibling and even after success previously it’s hard to remember that it can and does work and sometimes we need to hang on to that hope 🤗💜

I was on Progynova too and like you, I was scared of taking it. I experienced nausea (really bad bouts), and bloating. But, it gave is our baby boy. Hang in there. Hope things work out wll for you. xxx
