I stopped Teriparatide on 11th April because of side effects. 4 days later I got a particularly bad cold that lasted a long time. On 2nd May I had a routine blood test, and it shows my monocytes are out of range 3.2 mole/L) - low. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I've been taking Alendronic Acid along with pred (on the insistence of GPs and rheumy) for 2 years. At last I've managed to get a Dexa scan and they told me that my bones are good/normal and that there is no need to take the AA. Do I need to taper or can I just stop?Also wouldn't it make sense to do

Got diagnosed with OP after MRI showed I had 4 compressed fractures in my thoracic spine and 2 more recent ones in lower, prior to this had pain for months and it wasn’t until I had seen an extended role physio that listened to me and made the referral.

Was diagnosed with stress fractures in L4, had a surgery that made the pain 10x worse, and I’ve just been trying to get at least a little bit better. It’s very tough.

I started on Pregabalin yesterday for neuropathic pain from spine fractures. Currently on 15mg pred. Has anyone experienced this? Is it likely to get worse? Go away? Should I be doing anything?? It’s not disabling but has reached the level of annoying!

Eventually after many fruitless doctors visits I had a MRI scan, this showed I had five spinal fractures. It took many months for the bad pain to go, and it has left me with mobility problems. I also had to take early retirement on health grounds, so it was life changing.

Hello. I am on Xtandi as last ditch effort after Zytiga and Pluvicto eventually failed. After starting I have declining PSA but dramatically rising ALP. Any thoughts on what this means? Thanks all.
