3 years on Eligard Abiraterone, Xgeva and Prednisone and lately the fatigue is unbearable, particularly after I eat a late breakfast or early lunch. And it really doesn't matter what I eat
Anyone else have this?

I am lackluster in the AM until I get to the gym then plenty of energy
I'm also nearly 3 years on ADT, Prostap in my case and Enzalutamide. I understand what you mean on fatigue.
I've realised though that I literally need to force myself to do something and the fatigue goes. If I don't and stay home, I'm fatigued.
Monday I stayed home, weather not great, felt fatigued and slept in the afternoon. Today, up early, went volunteering then drove to visit my son in a different city, played pool, had a meal, drove home. Walked the dog. This ADT is crazy.
I have noticed if I start an activity instead of starting a nap, I feel much better and the nap doesn't seem as necessary
Four years on the same meds. My fatigue tendency has increased continuously. Previously, working out at gym helped. But now (I started s thread on this about a month ago), I often get so fatigued while exercising at the gym that I have to quit and come home to rest. BTW, I just turned 80, so that's probably a contributing factor.
Go gearhead!
Exercise before the late breakfast/early lunch. You may still get tired after the meal, but it feels completely different, and much better.
Thanks for the tip
Been on Eligard for nearly 3 yrs with all the SEs. Now dx with MDS ( myloidisplastic syndromes), so now have double fatigue. Finally have convinced myself to ignore it the best I can. Never been good at sleeping and don't take naps.
I've had macrocytes, stomacytes and polychromasia in a few blood smears......Is this indicative of myloidisplastic syndromes?
I think the only way to know for sure is with a bone marrow biopsy. Anemia lead to another blood test which said I had hemochromotosis (iron overload). Then I had the bone marrow biopsy which said I had MDS with ring sideroblasts. It is affecting 3 parts of my blood making process. Anemia is low red blood cell count. Leukopenis is low white cells. Neutropenia is low neutrophil count. Thrombocytopenia is low platelet count and Cytopenia(s) is a low count of one or more blood cell types. Go the MDS Foundation for more info. I am fairly sure my prostrate radiation treatments caused my MDS. Something to also consider. MDS is very rare.
I hope you find success with your treatment. I'm sorry to hear of your troubles
I tried American ginseng after seeing this post. It has helped a lot. I’m on my third round of ADT and my energy level this time has been the highest of the three rounds. Not perfect but definitely improved.
I get around the urge to noon-sleep by whacking the bishop instead..... problem however cause I have to replace my electric cake mixer periodically.....
Good Luck, Good Health and Good Humor.

might keep a close eye on your glucose levels. I acquired Type 2 diabetes along the way and a unknown A1C of 10. I would eat breakfast and right back to sleep until I figured it out. Ozempic and back below 7 things got way better.
That's good to know, glucose is a tic high @ 101 mg/dL. Were you lucky enough to get the weight loss side effect of Ozempic?
101 is magnificent. As a matter of fact on Ozempic I’ve only been that low once. You are not even pre diabetes. My guess is an a1c of low 5s.
I’ve lost about about 15 lbs and am only on .50 mg now. Going to 1 mg next month. One thing my radiologist told me was overweight people didn’t do as well as those with less fat. So trying to get back to high school weight. Dreaming. 30 lbs to go.
My One regret is not knowing about the weight gain associated with ADT. It would have been much easier to prevent the obesity than it has been to defeat it once it arrived. I've gained 60 pounds and ten points BMI.
the ozempic will help if you can keep from having the upset stomach issues .
I started with trulicity for the diabetes which is the similar product and after 6 months I was constantly sick feeling. I would give it a try. You don’t want to eat at the level I am now .50. It goes to 4 times that for weight loss. BMI and diabetes is what kicks the insurance in.
I have been on abiraterone since November 2022. Fatigue seams to be greater than ADT alone and I have more hot flashes. My PSA is creeping up again after going down a little. I am going to ask if I can switch the prednisone for dexamethasone.
You really need to fight the fatigue with diet and exercise. I know I am always dehydrated since starting abiraterone.
