Fodmap help
Previously I tried gulten free now I have been asked to try
Fodmap
. When should I see a difference if any? I'm on week 3. I've stuck by the diet and check on the Nhs app if I can eat it. The only change is my weight lost 0.5 stones since started. The reason I ask no change to the pain.

Hard to word this question
Well, I'm here now and I have a question about the low
fodmap
diet. So I would like to know what the total
fodmap
content per meal is? Like if I were to have like 10 different foods all at once (green light foods, single serving), I'm pretty sure my symptoms would flare up.

12x8cm endometrioma possibly boderline tumour
Sticking to a low
FODMAP
diet seemed to help but recently I felt the need to pee quite frequently and was quite tender on the right side of my lower abdomen so went back to GP and after a scan a large endometrioma was found. Since then I had an MRI and ended up in A&E twice on morphine.

I guess I am not self controlled enough for low
FODMAP
, and other diets out there. This product seems to be of some benefit for me.

CONSTIPATION!
So at the moment when I'm not on the low
FODMAP
, coffee every day is enough to help the constipation (but not the bloating/pain), but when I do go on the low
FODMAP
, coffee no longer works. Does anyone have any other suggestions for dealing with the constipation while on low
FODMAP
??

This was a tough one
I also told her I am extremely lucky and have found a way of controlling it with the low
fodmap
diet. I told her I dodged a bullet and was one of the lucky few. I don't think she really knows how bad rls is.

Lack of knowledge
I have limited knowledge but after walking out of my GPs room with
FODMAP
written on a piece of paper and told to follow the diet religiously for 4 weeks I felt elated. Only to discover that wasn't right 😱.

Lactase capsules
Im trying to follow a
fodmap
diet as best I can and this has helped enormously. Also just started cutting down on sugar!!! Bit of a sugar junkie to be honest. Any other sugar junkies out there? I'm lactose intolerant, about to experiment with lactase capsules.

Please Help! What drugs are best for a bad flare-up?
I tried
FODMAP
before Christmas, but for some reason, I found that cutting out foods has just made me hyper-sensitive to all foods, and I seem to be getting a lot more allergic reactions.

Just diagnosed after 8 months of hell
Re the
FODMAP
diet, my neighbour who is a dietician said not to use it. It's the Australian version and that they have the same products but different ingredients. Best to use Food Maestro, it's an app and you can scan every product and will confirm if safe to eat.

Newbie who's losing her mind
I've decided to give the
FodMap
diet a go - has anyone else adopted this diet? I can't seem to find triggers - cutting out alcohol and cigarettes makes an immediate difference.

How low is low fodmap?
I know it helps but it's difficult to follow at school and home - will a single serving of fodmaps eliminate any benefit or is it more that the fewer fodmaps you eat the more benefit??

I'm here, I'm in pain and it affects my life!
I am on the low
fodmap
diet, which seems to help but I have lost all enjoyment in food. I'm fed up trying to second guess what causes a flare up. Although I have been on several medications to help with my IBS symptoms, my doctor decided to take me off all of these a month ago.
