fodmap???
Yes I am on it and the results have been remarkable. I'm not gonna try explain what it's about so instead I'll link you to the Monash university website which has all the info you need.

It may seem hard at first but there are a few users on this forum including myself who are on it to treat rls so we could definitely help you out. All the best
I think Monash are only making their knowledge available via an app for your phone or tablet. Hence there is not much detail on their websight. Check out the Sue Shepard Foundation Site.
i couldn't use the app on my old phone but I have been told its very useful. The big advantage is that it can be kept right up to date by Monash, unlike a paper book. I will find out more tomorrow and let you know. The FODMAP has world-wide recognition for IBS so there are many centres supplying it with recognition to its origins.
I suggest you search the web for FODMAP diet and read up on many sites to get an understanding.
Wheat is not a FODMAP but I started out when I first experimented with a gluten-free diet and I haven't wanted to lose that small advantage I originally experienced. I have since come to believe that if I eat too much of any bread, even gluten free bread, I will get a reaction so I am not eating any at all. Now I am sticking to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital low chem diet. This is similar to FODMAP in some ways but a slightly different emphasis.
I'll send some more info in the next couple of days.
After you do your research a great place for recipes is Pinterest. I know I looked at the lists and explanations and felt a little overwhelmed....still do because I haven't started yet.
However finding these actual recipes and meal ideas helped me to wrap my mind around it!
