Advice about discharge and coil.
Hi all, I’ve been having some troubles over the past month involving losing a brown discharge and orange spotting, a slight pain once I’ve passed urine and some cramping. I’ve had swabs taken by doctors including sti checks but everything has come back normal but I feel as though something isn’t right

Oral Progesterone (Cyproterone)
Hi everyone, Just wondering whether anyone has any experience taking oral progesterone (brand name Cyprone) for Endometriosis? I just had my follow up appointment with my Gynae/Endo surgeron and rather than put me on Zoladex, which would likely screw with my anxiety and depression, he has asked me to

Pain after lap with coil fitted
I had my lap 4 days ago, after the lap I had severe cramp pains, I think from the coil being fitted and they kept me in to manage my pain. The next day I felt so much better and went home, I was able to do some things at home. But now I've woken up and I'm in agony again, yesterday I felt dizzy all day

A&e
Currently having what I think is a period. Since getting the coil put in in September they’ve been all over the place my last period was the end of November. The past few days I’ve been getting a bit of pain but today the pain is so bad and I’m bleeding brown blood. I really don’t want to go to A&e as

Merena coil
Hi, I’ve had the merena coil nearly 2 months now. I’ve had a lot of pain / discomfort, however I’m still preserving whether to keep it in or take it out. I’ve also noticed a fair bit of weight gain, haa anyone else gained weight on the merena?

Marena coil - any good?
Finally had my post op review and my consultant suggested I switch from microgynon to the marena coil. Any one recommend this? I understand it’s a bit invasive so want to be sure about it first.

Mirena removal - hormone free! Any experiences?
Hi! I have been diagnosed with mild endometriosis and Adenoymyosis for about 5 years now, after trying multiple pills, oral hormones, the implant etc. since the age of 13, I was given the Mirena Coil back in 2015 and although not fantastic, it has been the 'best' of the bunch and I still had almost monthly

Minera coil removal to try to conceive
Hi everyone, I have stage 3 endometriosis, and had a lap last year for diagnosis/removal. My husband and I are planning to try for a family in a few months as it was suggested we shouldn't wait too long given that the endo is fairly focussed on my ovaries. I've been on the minera coil for 3 years,

Hashimotos and Female Contraceptives for bad Periods/PMS?
Hi I’ve asked this a few times but I am doing my own research as need to decide what to do with myself and the bad periods I am having to suffer each month, along with very bad PMS. My levels for thyroid have room for a slight improvement however I think I need to try something for my periods. They

Really need advice please
After years of pain/heaving bleeding, no results from internal scans and smears the doctors are referring me to a gynaecologist with suspected endometriosis. Until I get the letter of referral in the post the doctor has prescribed me tranexamic acid and advised me to look into the IUD or contraceptive

IUD Concerns
Hi there, I had the copper coil inserted 5 months ago and since then I have been on my period pretty much non-stop, although things are starting to slow down now. I spoke to a doctor who was concerned this wasn't normal so I've had scans done to make sure it is in the right place (which it was). Should

First lap
I have my first lap next week, I'm nervous and I feel like I lack information, in the pre op they said I'll need two weeks off work. I'm getting the mirera coil fitted too, she said she's doing key hole with treatment, and possibly open surgery, how likely is the open surgery needed? Other than baggy
