Marena coil - any good?

Finally had my post op review and my consultant suggested I switch from microgynon to the marena coil. Any one recommend this? I understand it’s a bit invasive so want to be sure about it first.

I put off having the coil for nearly three years - then felt like it’s my only option left to try. I only had mine done one week ago, I hadn’t made things worse by any means! My bleeding is slowing down to near stopping and my acne isn’t looking as angry. X
