I'm new and need help. I don't know what to do or who can help
My immune system goes low, I have extreme sneezing episodes, I'm fatigued, freezing, can get feverish, headaches, sensitivity to light, rhinitis and
flu
-like symptoms. I have more symptoms, but the former are more intense. When I was a teenager, these symptoms lasted a day or two.

Not every breathing symptom is asthma!
It might occur after a virus (such as
flu
, pneumonia or covid) or a period of uncontrolled asthma - or it might simply develop because someone has had niggly (or quite frankly rubbish) asthma for some while.

Covid Vaccine and APS
I know with the vaccine, you are supposed to have a more mild Covid case if you get it (like the
flu
shot). Since Covid does increase the chances of thrombosis, is there still a chance of having a blood clot with a mild case of Covid even with the vaccine? Thank you, APS4EVER

Hypothyroid symptoms?
I’ve been feeling really rough since Friday, can’t eat, constant diaorhea, fatigue, almost
flu
like. I am having awful heart palpitations mainly in the early hours which settle by about 10am. No fever or vomiting or rash. I currently take 2x 60mg doses of Armour and have done for a few years.

Good news and bad news?
Although they suggest I get the vaccine, I am wanting to get the
flu
shot as well. TBH it felt like I had pneumonia,
flu
and strep all at once. Anyway, I just wanted to post something positive for a change. I hope y'all are well.

Please read this. May be you too
It felt
flu
like, sort of electrical like nerve pain. It was honestly so awful. Back and forward to Drs countless times with bloods showing no results for anything.Kept being told it was fibromyalgia but I knew it had to be something I was taking or eating.

Just got my first Moderna vaccine on the 26th
Thought it was just a food thing until Thursday rolled around and I didn’t feel any better so I figured I had the
flu
. I didn’t want to take a chance on putting my appointment off because my daughter in law is due in May with my first grandchild!

HRT versus Pred as a treatment for PMR? Any flare up experienced from the adjuvants in vaccines ?
It also became worse after my
flu
shot. I am trying not to go back on steroids as it gave me indigestion and there is a history of oesophageal cancer in my family. I’m trying a paleo/ anti inflammatory diet now to see if that helps at all and wondering if a low dose HRT is better than steroids.

Weird!
I'm convinced it was triggered by a '
flu
jab few weeks before and have been on varying doses of Prednisolone since, currently 3 ml per day. But, and here's the weird bit, since I had my pfizer jab 4 weeks ago, I've had no PMR symtoms. Could there be a connection?

Covid Vaccination
Had a call from the Dr this morning to say that patients with AFIB are in the 6th group as vulnerable, which i thought was strange because i couldn't get a
flu
jab. Anyone else heard this ?

Off to get my first Covid shot this morning.
I had a
flu
bout last January that actually came closer than I'd like to doing that... so I remain careful, especially as I have at least one friend whose overactive immune situation makes the shot currently problematic for him. Grateful.

Nightmare of a few weeks
With ambulances coming and going , consultants and the makers of the oxford shot trying to sort it all , he was soooooo ill......vomiting, upset stomach, headaches, vision loss,
flu
feelings so bad he couldn’t stand up , couldn’t eat and couldn’t sleep , it righted itself in the end but at its worst

If control measures are stopping flu in its tracks, why aren’t they stopping coronavirus?
The near absence of the
flu
might reflect increased rates of vaccination, as seen in the US, but distancing, hand washing and masking have probably played an even bigger role. If these measures are so effective against the
flu
, though, why is SARS-CoV-2 still spreading?

Re vaccine and outcome for CLL you might find this interesting
There had been concerns about this particular group of patients and how they would respond to the vaccine, as CLL patients are known to not respond as well to other vaccines, such as the
flu
, as healthy people do.

How much endo pain to endure, keeping on trying to work?
This isn't like a
flu
when you know not to go to work because you are using too much tissue. This is strange stuff. I could call into work sick for the day, but what could I possibly say? "I have unrelenting pain and I've lost my mind"? That's not exactly confidence-inspiring for an employer.

Vaccines and flare up's?
I had a pneumonia jab in September, a
flu
jab in November and the covid vaccine 4 weeks ago and the last few weeks I have been really struggling. It may be unrelated but I just thought I would ask. Thanks.
