Injection into sacroiliac joint?
Flu
season is about to hit, and I want to have a fairly robust immune system rather than one infection after another.

Update on my unicorn journey
Gp asked for a repeat when i had my
flu
jab. Today got a text "please ring gp following your blood results urgently" so looks like pred induced diabetes on top to add to the list. This happened last year but managed to reverse it when came of pred but wasnt as high as current reading.

Is it possible to have a flare up of PMR without a change in predisolone dosage?
For the last 4-5 days I have been feeling cold, tired & aching all over & feel like I've got the
flu
. Similar symptoms to when PMR was diagnosed. Could this be a flare up? The only other thing I can think of is I had my second shingles vaccination on Wednesday 14th September.

Advice before talking to Dr
I spoke to the dr about ongoing symptoms of lack of energy and
flu
like body aches. She wanted me to have a range of blood tests before choosing a path.

New Omicron vaccines proven safe and effective
“An annual
flu
vaccine is updated based on the circulating strains of the
flu
, and unfortunately, we [the medical community] can’t wait on human data because it might not arrive until November or December, well after many of us have been infected.”

Very Scared and suffering with Graves Disease - don't know what to do next?
Back in 2021 when I relapsed again, I asked my GP about being on Carbimazole and risk of low immunity (as well as an apparent risk of low immunity just by having Graves itself my endo has said) with Covid/
Flu
etc. and he said "if you're worried don't go out/shield" so only place I go to now is food shopping

Having COVID has been a reprieve and I'm worried about my ability to continue fighting COVID and the seasonal
flu
when the inhibitor disables my immune system. I'd gotten my 2nd COVID booster a month before catching COVID , but it didn't do any good.

Tapering side effects?
Halfway through and i am still feeling intermittently nauseous and have
flu
-like aches in arms, shoulders and legs. Plus feel incredibly tired most of the time. Is this due to taper? If so,do i need to go back to 2 mg or will the symptoms subside eventually? Many thanks

Re Scottish autumn 2022 vaccine appointments
My vaccine is booked for late October and I plan to get both Covid and
flu
at the same time this year. Because I know I’m now generating good Covid antibodies, and if I’m going to flare I might as well get them both over at once!

Zytiga withdrawal symptoms
So I did so but now I have
flu
like symptoms. No fever but headache, shakiness, and fatigue. General feeling of unease. Anyone else have this experience? If so, how long do these symptoms last?

Nice post about cleaner indoor air standards
The New York Times recently claimed that “the risk of Covid is similar to that of the
flu
” in an article about “hold outs” that are annoyingly refusing to accept continual reinfection as their “new normal”.

Flu like symptoms
So… on Besremi - can have
flu
like symptoms. Does this mean you just feel like you are sick or are you actually sick and how can you tell the difference? It lowers our immune system, right? Are we contagious when we feel bad? I don’t see how you could ever know for sure.

Bright yellow urine, Flank pain, Flakes in urine
This started with nightly
flu
-like muscle aches and frequent night sweats. Next, feelings of light-headedness, mild nosebleeds, and heart palpitations (sudden slightly fast and very strong heartbeats) out of nowhere.

Ectopic Beats or Something More?
I since have discovered that in
