Lingering Covid vaccine side-effects
My fatigue was more debilitating than normal (this is usually my worst PBC symptom anyway), and I felt some cold/
flu
symptoms and a really painful arm. It's now a month later, and if anything my arm is more painful than ever.

My Interesting Covid Experience
It was really hard but lasted only for about a day (even less) and then I was just a little sick, like a regular
flu
. I never developed cough or lung symptoms. I did the Covid test and it turned out positive. What is interesting is that all my joint symptoms subsided.

Vaccine Side Effects?
She had the whole
flu
-like response but suddenly a return of night terrors like she had when she was a kid. So strange. These are the healthy ppl I know!! Still 💯 supportive of vaccines, but really thrown off by how hard it hits. Pretty nervous about shot #2 😳😬😬

Have I really got fibromyalgia?
Since then I have improved but do get times when I ache like
flu
all over. Some days I can walk along way and play tennis then other days I just feel so achy and in pain. I really wish I knew what triggers it. I keep a food and activity diary but nothing seems to set it off.

Long QT Syndrome - Covid vaccine question
I got a free
flu
jab but when I asked my GP they told me that I won't get a Covid jab until it comes to my age group. I'm 38.

Bellaowl re Covid vaccine interaction with CFS
The last time I had a vaccine was
flu
. I developed pleurisy and 2 yrs later pneumonia, both only 2 days after the vaccine. My consultant at the time said, No more vaccines of any type’. So the posts I’v read have been v helpful.

Interesting article on effect of covid on brain tissue
Following the 1918 Spanish
flu
pandemic there was an increase in Parkinson’s-like encephalitis among those infected, she said. Given more than 120 million people have contracted Covid-19, these potential knock-on effects were “worth paying attention to”, she said.

I feel a few good things~!
He felt some symptoms might be from too fast a reduction which gave me '
flu
-like' aching and discomfort but classified everything I felt from my jaw, neck, and head were indeed a GCA flare. He told me to go to 13mg per day and if I was not comfortable in two days to go to 14.

Do you change anything when you’re ill?
Flu
etc. It worries me like never before because I know how bad I can feel ‘normally’, let alone with a serious illness. I’m on T3 only and I notice the dips far more than I ever did. It worries me that if i were really ill ( and possibly not able to keep things down) how would I cope with that?

Easy-to-deliver mRNA treatment shows promise for stopping flu and Covid-19 viruses.
“We went from
flu
to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid-19. They're incredibly different viruses. And we were able to do that very, very rapidly by just changing a guide.”

I'm back - but out of action....
To get you up to date, I had 'a
flu
' at the beginning of 2020, with a cough that took months to go, so running was out of the question, but I walked around 6k a day, all around my (very) hilly village.
