Hrt obstetric aps
Hi I would like some info on hrt and Aps. In 2015 I lost a baby at 5mths pregant (after 3 sussesful pregnancies) I was advised by my local nhs hospital it would be ‘ one of those things’ so I sought private testing. I had a private aps test done in London about a week after my loss which was normal.

How I overcame IBS-D
Dear all, I periodically post this advice to help new-comers to the subject. I consider myself a recovered IBS-sufferer and so like to share what I learned. I hope that you are keeping sane during the lockdown! This is my general approach to help people understand and repair their gastro-intestinal

Lupus/APS and cod liver oil
Hi, I'm 49, and have lupus with antiphospholipid syndrome. I'm currently on lifelong warfarin, statins, vit D, hydroxychloroquine and methotrexate injections. The inflammatory arthritis is very painful, would cod liver oil be safe to take with anticoagulants? I think the oil would help with the inflammation

41 Perimenopause? Femoston. History of unusual fibroid- concerns. Help!
Sorry this is quite long as my history of issues is complex. I have been struggling with my health for 6 years (when I was 35) it started with fatigue and headaches then skin issues (tiny blisters on face and rashes on neck & forearms) then horrendous bloating, abdominal pain and finally crippling back

Prospective dietary intervention for PCA: MEAL Study shows no PCA progression benefit.
Yet findings from a number of trials – testing vitamin E, C, and selenium,
fish
oil
, and now MEAL, among others – have failed to show im- proved cancer outcomes with dietary interventions.

Low Dose Tetrahydrocannabinol and Melatonin for Better Sleep and Cognitive Function
Hello HealthUnlocked Members, I have been on ADT continuously since February 2016 and in general I have tolerated Lupron fairly well to date. The hot flashes have diminished in frequency and intensity over time and bone density is normal for my age (65 years). I have found that exercise, keeping cool

Any info on RLS and Chronic Kidney Disease?
Hello, fellow twitchers. My pertinent PMH: I spent 3 weeks in a coma after I fractured my skull in an MVA 35 years ago. My speech is sometimes slurred and I have impulse control issues. 20 years ago, I donated a kidney to my mom and shortly after that RLS started. A doctor prescribed Levodopa, then Ropinole

Something a little different
We decided, based on what we had in the fridge and pantry, to put it in a Thai marinade (
oil
, chilli, garlic,
fish
sauce, honey, lemongrass, lime and coriander) and chargrill it in the bbq. And I made a couple of salads to go with it.

Autoimmune Inflammation help??
I have been suffering from autoimmune issues for about a year and a half now. I believe it started with leaky gut, developed sibo, and now have some sort of other issue.
