Writing here in the hopes that there might be some success stories out there or at least some advice. First beta 10 days after frozen blastocyst transfer was 30 only, but HPT test today (day 11 ) looks darker. Doc ordered another beta on Monday (day 13). Do we have any hope or is this a chemical? We had one before already but had an even lower starting beta (35 on day 12).
Has anyone had a successful pregnancy with this low of a beta start?
We have been 2 years of IVF and 7 transfers now, but this us the first with an adjusted era window and PGS testing. I’m just trying to not lose hope that it will be the same outcome.

I’ve literally just seen someone online say her beta on 9dp5dt was 50, and I’ve been watching her lines with slight worry that it didn’t seem to be getting darker… anyway, her repeat beta quadrupled and the line suddenly got darker, a little like yours is appearing! I agree with the below, if it’s getting darker then I think that’s a positive sign and I’d enjoy it! When I had my chemical, it was lighter than tbis and continued to decrease! Gentle congratulations to you 💛 xx
If you want a hope story I have one. My first beta was 31 or 32. It was slow to rise but I’m currently rocking my 4 month old to sleep (it’s taking a while hence the reading!). From the hours of googling I did, FETs seem to occasionally result in lower betas or it could be due to late implantation. I did HPTs for a few days but the lines differed and I kept scaring myself, so I did three betas over a week and then waited for a scan. It was an agonising wait but try to put the internet away and your phone in a drawer. Me and baby Cameron are crossing our fingers and toes for you xxx
Loved reading your story Lizzie. Thank you for sharing and congrats on your beautiful baby. You have given me some faith that this might be a slow implanted as we did do a frozen transfer- and it was hatching, so maybe it did just need more time to implant. I’ll try and hold off the testing and googling as you suggested and keep myself occupied before the repeat beta on Monday. Xx
Hi hun, obviously no one can know for sure and it can still go wrong later but I do agree with others that the lines do seem to progress well, especially if you compare the ones 2 days apart. I have attached my line progression and doesn’t look too dissimilar and I am currently 18 weeks. Never had beta’s done so can’t help with that but my chemical I had before this successful one clearly went downhill in line progression unlike yours. I hope this one works out for you hun! It remains stressful but sadly all you can do is wait and try to enjoy the fact it has gotten so far already! I have good hopes!
My beta at 11 days was 56 and I thought that it was going to end. 2 days later had went up to 132. Currently 16+2 with an active little baby and no issues so far. All the stories on Google terrified me but apparently some ppl just have low betas. My transfer was also frozen
