ELF Test
normal, I don't drink at all now but was only a occasional drinker when I did at social events, the other consultant has agreed that he believes its NAFLD but says I will need a liver biopsy to see the extent, I am no doctor but I have had the results from the fibro scan and elf test so know I have

Questions
I have read early
fibrosis
doesn't usually have symptoms, is this right? I never trusted my US scan result of "fatty liver" because I was experiencing a wide range of cosmetic and physical symptoms, and since I wasn't showing serious late stage symptoms doctor didn't take me seriously.

NAFLD
was interested if anyone with NAFLD/NASH diagnosis and F2
fibrosis
have a had consistent low or normal AST/ALT ? Basically any blood test I have had is right in the normal range, this includes antibodies, platelets etc. How can I be so fatigued if there are no signs in blood work, ever ?

Extensive history - how far to push testing before returning embryo
Hi I have had what feels like an extensive fertility journey with a lot of emotional pain along the way. Started trying at 33, am now 37. I'm in a position now where I have one PGTA tested embryo and one untested embryo. I don't expect to achieve further embryos in the future so see these two as my last

Brother in hospital with pulmonary fibrosis
My younger brother is in hospital. His symptoms got really bad after Christmas. Struggling to breathe, walk and eat properly. Lost so much weight. Has an IV drip for nutrients. He was on mycophenolate but the side effects were intolerable. I'm so worried. I think he has been protecting me re the severity

Awaiting a lap. Is it worth paying privately for an mri?
I'm awaiting a lap, but I have no idea of how long I will wait. I was originally told I had fibroids in Oct 22, causing my pelvic pain and associated issues. My scans, however, were clear. The consultant said she could feel 2 on exam. I have seen a private consultant who has disagreed with this and

Does endo cause daily pain even when on desogestrel
I'm struggling with daily pelvic pain since my dignotic lap where endo was found but not removed. I've been on desogestrel pill since November and have no periods but yet have this daily pelvic pain. More specifically does anyone else get more pain in the lower right side of pelvis? Sometimes I have

Lost trust in elastography
After reading scientific studies I though fibroscan and other type elastography was pretty accurate in rulling in or rulling out
fibrosis
/cirrhosis, but i got serious doubts after reading here. Plenty of people having very low results even when they show typical signs of advanced cirrhosis.

Cancelled cycle
Hi everyone, just wanted to see if anyone had experienced a cycle cancellation due to the risk of OHSS. After 8 days of stimulation, I've been told that my cycle had to be cancelled as too many follicles have been developing (29 were seen on the scan) and my estrogen levels were way too high (3,500

Fibrosis/ cirrhosis diagnosis
He asked if I'd received a letter (which I hadn't due to postal strikes) he told me I have liver
fibrosis
then mentioned cirrhosis. As I'm not a doctor I had absolutely no idea what to ask or if it was serious. We chatted about Christmas and family then said goodbye.
