Ultrasound reliability
My question is how reliable is the ultrasound In diagnosing different degrees of
fibrosis
? I have provisionally booked a Fibroscan for Monday (again private and costly) is it worth going to if the ultrasound results were good? Awaiting bloods still! Many thanks (:

Internal Burning
Hi,I am new here. I am desperate for answers. I had a hysterectomy 21 years ago and it was only through recurrent UTI’s that I was eventually diagnosed with vaginal atrophy. I was put on Vagifem and a vaginal moisturiser but whereas my UTI’s stopped the intense burning ( as if someone had put a tube

No diagnosis as yet 😔
I have to undergo more blood tests for a full blood count and
fibrosis
because my test clotted and I am unable to get results from the fibroscan. My ALT was raised along with GT and IgG but my ALP and IgM was all normal.

IPF or idiopathic ILD?
I've asked numerous times whether my clinical team are absolutely sure I don't have idiopathic pulmonary
fibrosis
and keep being reassured that I don't. My question is whether any of you have ever come across this kind of situation? If ILD is idiopathic is it not therefore IPF?

Adenomyosis
Just read another letter from consultant to my GP. It says., Posterior Myometrium is thickened containing small intramural fibroids or Adenomyosis. Endometrium measure 3mm and my ovaries have scaring.Does this sound like maybe Adenomyosis and Endometriosis? Any thoughts please x

D&C miscarriage- next steps?
Hi fellow ivf warriors, I had a d&c on 29th March after we discovered no heat beat at 6 week scan. Without speaking to my ivf consultant (which costs £175 a go) I'm just wondering what should be my next steps? I have one PGS tested embryo left (on ice) so hoping to do another transfer as soon as possible

Amiodarone experience of??
I am not sure that I want a successful NSM but at the potential cost of causing lung
fibrosis
, liver issues and other things...!!🤫 My specific question therefore to the forum is, does anybody out there have direct personal experience of being on Amiodarone? Any feedback would be helpful.

TWW here we come!
So we had our first embryo transfer today and they said for day 2 it was a 4 cell embryo and top quality. The transfer itself went very smoothly and the doctor was very happy with it. So now for the dreaded two week wait. I went out and bought lots of the recommended foods - pineapple, kiwi, strawberries

Feeling really down in 2WW
Sorry for the long intro. Im not a very positive person, I find it hard, even though I try really hard, to find the positives in things. I am really good at masking how I feel and have an array of facades I put on so others don’t know how I am feeling. This is why posting on this site is really difficult

Tibolone
Hi everybody, I am 6 months into a 3 month prostap injection and 2 weeks on tibolone. I was expecting the hot flushes to have calmed down a bit by now but they haven't and having issues sleeping because of it. Also have very achey legs. Has anyone else experienced this on tibolone? I'm not sure if I
