TWW here we come!

So we had our first embryo transfer today and they said for day 2 it was a 4 cell embryo and top quality. The transfer itself went very smoothly and the doctor was very happy with it.

So now for the dreaded two week wait. I went out and bought lots of the recommended foods - pineapple, kiwi, strawberries, spinach, probiotic yogurts, avocados, salmon, sunflower and pumpkin seeds. Also know which foods to avoid!

One concern that just dawned on me is whether I need to stop the antibiotics the clinic gave me after egg collection. I only have 1 days worth left but also know most meds not advised during pregnancy so I’ll call the clinic in the morning.

Feeling hopeful and happy - let’s hope it lasts!
