Progynova and FET

Hi

I've just started a medicated FET process and am on Progynova (8mg per day) I have a scan booked in for this Friday to check the womb lining.

I've been having some kind of EWCM. Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm a bit confused, because according to my period tracker app (which is usually pretty accurate), ovulation is due next Wednesday. Is the estrogen going to stop ovulation? The only other medication I've been given is progesterone pessaries.

hey I’m the same and have my scan booked for sat. I’m having the same kind of thing I think the oestrogen stops ovulation though (as far as I understand it!) sorry not much help

Thank you! Good to know you're on the same meds. I keep seeing people say things about a trigger, but I don't have any of that, so I wondered if I was missing something!

Thankyou same to you ! Sounds like we might be on quite similar timescales etc I’m having to take the oestrogen for 2 weeks then have a scan to check the lining

Yes, sounds about the same 😊 I started progynova on Thursday and have the scan this Friday. They said if the lining looks good the transfer will be around 5 days after that!

yes, the estrogen will stop ovulation…. I think the ewcm is normal too

A trigger is normally used in a natural/modified FET cycle to trigger ovulation, so you wouldn’t have one in a medicated FET cycle x

that’s really normal in a FET I was worried before too that I was somehow ovulating and at the wrong time but clinic said all normal at that stage 🤗 xx
