Lightheaded All The Time
Hi, within the last week or so I have been suffering with being light headed all day which is interfering with day to day life. A visit to my Dr's discovered that my BP was dropping when stood up. This makes sense as I am fine led down. I Have been on Aladopimine 5mg and Ramipril 10mg for over 10 yrs

Amlodipine and Flecainide
I have been prescribed by GP to take Amlodipine for high blood pressure whilst taking Fleacainide for AF. I have read this can be dangerous, is this the case?

Anxious over up coming blood results
Hi all, I think I am just looking for some reassurance and wise words which I know I’ll get from here. It’s a bit of a saga but I’ll try and be brief . Back in March I tore the calf muscle in my leg and tore a ligament in the other. Weeks on crutches and very swollen ankles and feet along with bruising

Hi there, I’m on 9 different medications: Dapagliflozin, Bisopropolol, Aspirin, Clopidogrel, spironolactone, warfarin, atorvostatin, lanzrapole and ramipril and I’ve been taking them since late April following a HA. I’ve felt generally well apart from fatigue but in the last 6-8 weeks have developed

Amlodipine Side Effects, short and long term
I am on 10mg amlodipine (this dosage was prescribed right off the bat) several years ago, to be taken with 100mg labetalol twice a day. I felt terrible at first but better now, though frequently tired. I'm wondering if these meds are too much and the cause of my fatigue (I am 69 y.o.) I am also being

Sibo & Medications
I have had diffuse systemic scleroderma since 2011, I am 71 years of age. I had my first bout of sibo a year ago, for which I was prescribed metronidazole followed by co-amoxiclav, that worked perfectly. I have recently had another episode of sibo & took the same drugs, but it seems to be coming back

Irregular heart beat indicator on BP monitor
hello so notwithstanding differences in accuracy between different types of monitors (as well as cuff or wrist), anyone with a monitor that has indicator for irregular heart beat find that this is an accurate indicator in terms of heart beat issues you have. Or does it show even if you don’t have heart

first post, unknown health problem that looks an awful lot like Hashimoto's?
Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me with some advice. Last June I developed a goitre and while investigating it I was found to have low potassium. The potassium loss is getting worse (I am currently on 6 sando-K tablets a day to stabilise me at around 3.5). I am under an endocrinologist to try and get

Update
Spoken to GP at length this morning regarding this awful fatigue I am suffering from, and how awful I’ve felt since starting Amlodipine. He agreed reluctantly that as I’ve been slightly better since stopping Amlodipine a week ago he would remove it from my prescription, but has increased Cozar (Losartan

Think I'm just starting out... Heart Inflammation/Myocarditis
Hi all, I've replied to a couple of posts so far but not actually written one myself. I'm not usually one for writing spiels but I'm wondering if it might be cathartic for me, and maybe someone can offer more insight, or get some from this. This seems to be a lovely, supporting space from what I've

Anaemia, blood pressure and Amlodipine
I am on 5 mg amlodipine daily for high blood pressure, and have been for more than a year. Since then my blood pressure has not been tested. viagra
I’m taking Felodipine for slightly raised BP and it’s working well . Unfortunately it’s causing some mild ED. I’ve tried other BP meds but can’t tolerate them. I had an ablation for AF nearly 12 months ago which has been successful. The urologist is suggesting viagra or similar. I’m worried it
