Down to 4mg Pred for GCA and now serious tendon & joint pain, leg (vein) pain. Is it normal?
Ive have acute bi lateral tedonopathy which is still an issue with plantar
fasciitis
now too. Now worryingly I am getting sudden deep pain in one calf and deep pain in my groin on the other. My veins are very noticeable (my skin is very thin) but not varicose.

5 km today.
First day since last Sunday suffering plantar
fasciitis
still there yet but wasn’t too bad first thing and sacroiliac problems. Took it easy as you can see from my splits: 9.06 8.57 8.43 8.04 8.25 43.15, but felt comfortable but going by my heart rate max was in zone 5 21 mins and zone 4 17 mins.

Finally broke my 5k PB
For the last couple of months I've been managing plantar
fasciitis
in my left foot. If I go out on a long run, it takes about a week for my foot to recover. Longer runs tend to really irritate it so I stick to short blasts, and recovery time is slowly reducing and pain is manageable.

Plantar fasciitis tips???
I’m mostly running with my son, 15, for whom all the running is easy - except that he keeps having plantar
fasciitis
pain. We got him great shoes. I think we’ll get inserts too, to support his arches. We’re doing massage on the feet after he runs.

B12 and jaundice on feet
Aside from that, I’ve been experiencing pain all over my feet every time I walk, that intensifies if I’m still on my feet, almost like a severe form of plantar
fasciitis
. I would appreciate any thoughts or advice. Thank you!

Plantar Fasciitis
Hi has anyone experienced the above in relation to Apixaban. I’m fairly sure I have it, came on quite quickly I noticed it when waking up and put my foot on the floor. Thought at first I had trodden on something but when I looked there was a small lump on the bottom of my foot. It’s been there for three

Injury or excuse?
I do get plantar
fasciitis
. What I’m not sure is, are my injuries a genuine reason to not run - I don’t want to aggravate things further.

Update on tapering, plantar fasciitis and kefir.
I was doing well but plantar
fasciitis
kicked in. I had a touch of this a few years ago and it sorted itself by using rubber inset heels.

Sense and Injury - a cautionary tale for the no longer 20 year olds
I still played tennis regularly until five years ago I got plantar
fasciitis
, first in one foot, then the other. Each foot took a year before I could play tennis again. Then I pulled a tendon in my foot playing tennis, then I got bursitis in my right hip. Bad luck? No.

Plantar Fasciitis
I suffered from plantar
fasciitis
a couple of years ago which was relieved by steroid injection. I was wondering if there is a definite link to hypothyroidism as I’ve noticed other sufferers have mentioned it on this forum. , If there is a link, the question is , why should this be?

Just wondering if this process sounds familiar?
GP made erroneous diagnoses several times, I kept being sent away: it took 6 months before RA was suspected, despite worsening symmetrical pain in both feet across the toe joints, dry eyes, fatigue, massive swelling in ankles and an existing auto-immune disease - was told it was plantar-
fasciitis

Getting back to running 🏃🏻♀️ 😄
The Plantar
Fasciitis
has gone. I have also been Jeffing (recommended by the Physio) to build up my fitness. This morning I managed to run my second 5k of this week without any problems.

Plantar Fasciitis
I googled it and Plantar
Fasciitis
seemed to fit the bill 100%. So I read a bit and consensus seemed that if the pain is below a 5 then you can continue to run but should I maybe cut my distances a little? Then in between runs ..rest and ice I guess?

Interesting find, b6 as well as b12, and diabetes
Causes plantar
fasciitis
amongst other stuff, that’s how I came across it. Morton’s toe also means b6 can’t be converted into its useable form, called p5p or PLP. People can have a high b6 level when tested because it’s sitting there unconverted and unused.
