Finally broke my 5k PB

For the last couple of months I've been managing plantar fasciitis in my left foot. If I go out on a long run, it takes about a week for my foot to recover. Longer runs tend to really irritate it so I stick to short blasts, and recovery time is slowly reducing and pain is manageable. Anyway... yesterday I was happy as I finally broke my 5k PB

Congratulations on your new very fast PB. Pain however is best when it's not there rather than just manageable- you dont want to be laying down long term problems while you chase ever faster times. Do consider getting professional help, you never know how fast and far you could go if you had the underlying issue resolved. Happy running 🤗
